Loved the winners tonight!!!! I was glad that Bridges and Bullock won. Well deserved!

Sandra Bullock's speech was great- funny AND gracious.

I figured it was between Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep. I thought Meryl was superb as Julia Childs and actually thought she might win. I have not seen The Blind Side, but definitely will now. I was very surprised that Hurt Locker literally sweeped all the awards; I guess I'll have to see that movie too. Disappointed that Avatar didn't take home more awards.

We just watched the Hurt Locker yesterday. It was really good. It was hard for DH and I to watch at times, but definately a good movie!

I agree! I loved Sandra Bullock in "The Blind Side". I just saw "Crazy Heart" with Jeff Bridges on Saturday. I really liked it. Jeff Bridges was wonderful in it. I was so happy that he won...love that man! ~Lisa

finally the moment arrived... sandra bullock got the oscar..I'm definately a Sandra Fan but All about Steve was pretty lame!!! Nice Try Though I'm sure you had fun with it!

Crittles ~ you really need to watch the Blind Side !!! It is my all time favorite movie. I've watched it at least 3 times already! Made me cry though. BuckeyeatHeart ~ May I ask why Hurt Locker was hard at times for you to watch? Just the aspect of the war or another reason? Just curious.
Anyway, the awards were great! I'm so glad Sandra Bullock won. She played a great part in the Blind Side and her speech was good. I heard her talking before about how her Mom would not approve of her crying when giving a speech. That's why you never see her cry when accepting awards but this time I don't think she could help it. I also saw her husband (Jessie James) getting teary eyed!
