I have a fairly unusual name, but there are at least two people out there with the same name. One wanted to "friend" me on Facebook, but I declined. The other was a twitter account with my childhood nickname and year of birth. That's a little creepy!

Keep up w/who googles you by signing up for google alerts. Type your name or what you want to be alerted to in parenthesis and google will alert you when your chosen words are searched:

Example "Jane Doe"

It is interesting to get an email and see where you popped up!

Ok... that is kind of creepy........... you mean that someone can just set up an alert for say 'dog' and are told if I look up dog?
