What happened? I guess I'll google it I'm sure it's on youtube or something. Okay I read about it what an idiot I'm seriously considering changed to a Republican. I'm ashamed of how the Democratic party has been acting.

Anna, I doubt you are alone in how you are feeling. They really have just gone too far. I know there are different ways of seeing things, like the airport details in the other thread, I get that. But, there are SO many things. Do you think it's arrogance, god complexes? It all really does bring me to tears....however...I am anxious to see where all their shenanigans are going to lead us. I know who I am and regardless of what "they" do, I'll be fine. As will those I love. (not that I don't care about others, hopefully you know what I mean)

I know what you mean and I know if I were to contract some horrendous disease and die or something it would be God's will however it's not just the health plan. If they grant amnesty for illegal immigrants then the drug cartels will take over like they did in Mexico and the streets will be so dangerous we won't be able to walk them.

| Wow, a VP in a celebratory mood who says "it's a big f'ing deal" vs a VP on the Senate floor who tells a Senator to "f off". ![]() Judging by your outrage at the VP you must have been asking "where's the fudge" when you said WTF?????? in another thread. |

| Oh, so what. Yeah, it wasn't appropriate, but it's hardly a case that requires some action. What would you expect to come of it?

It is inappropriate to use the F word (unless you're gutter trash) at a public "spectacle". If you wouldn't say it to your Grandma then you shouldn't be saying it to or in front of anyone you have respect for. WTF is an expression however it's not the same thing.

It is never ever polite to use foul language for anyone that is not nice nor respectable. To kts about the right side I just have to laugh and mean no harm honestly but call me silly but I have always loved being a left winged liberal and perhaps more so because I am left handed, again no harm just trying to lighten things up here as I feel while the boards were quite for the next couple of days they will not. Also Kts I am right with you on any level with the discussion on abortion, not to stir the pot, but I will never ever be for right to perform a abortion unless the mom was raped or her life or babies life is in danger. Peace to all. Catherine

Oh so you think it's alright for someone in his power to use the f word? Sorry but I teach my kids to not ever say that word, it's never appropriate. But since it was Joe who said it, I guess that makes it alright. If SP had said it...OMG it would be ALL over the networks.

| Wow, take a chill. I understood your sentence, you don't have to treat me like a child. I was just making a comment...but I guess I am not allowed to do that.

If it did happen, then those *individuals* have their own issues. I am not a tea party affiliate, but I certainly appreciate their sentiments, and do not believe that one can assign to all of them the poor behavior of one of them. The Unibomber was a stark raving leftist crazy, and his views did not represent those of the entire leftist movement.... did they? Quote:

As far as cell phone video goes, no there is nothing to hear on it. However the slurs were hurles as they emerged from the building. That part is not on the tape. Besides, several reporters also heard it. The tea baggers devolved into an ignorant mob. Loved the video of teabaggers hurling dollar bills at the elderly man with Parkinson. |

| Well, apparently I do. If you understood my sentence, why did you assert that I said just the opposite? You weren't just making a comment, you were insinuating I said something I didn't.

Ya know something I find interesting? When Bush did things on behalf of America that he believed were in the best interest of our nation, and the result was anger and violence on the part of those who opposed him, the liberal position was that Bush needed to tone it down, change his tune, and alter his policies so that other people wouldn't be mad at us. Nobody ever thought it was possibly a wrong position on the part of the opposition at the heart of the rift. No, it was 'our' fault for being on the offense, and the liberals cried and whined that we needed to back off the offense so we wouldn't be hated. Interesting thing. I see a lot of people mad at the obvious grab for power on the part of the Dems. Really, really mad. But for some reason, this time simply making people mad and frustrated is not reason to back down.... Because, of course, they think they are doing what they are doing for our own good. In other words... they have become what they claimed to hate just a few short years ago. |

| You're right - you didn't insinuate it, you stated it.

As far as I am concerned with the Corruption that was caused by the Bush and Cheney Administration is little in comparison but this bill that was just passed.Again I have stated I believe there is corruption in both parties always have always will, but for me as leftwinged liberal democrat I will remain that and never change. In the end sadly our country has gotten so bad all around the past 9 1/2 years have been horrible and while I will remain with the party I believe in, there is so much sadness because actually our country is a total mess from so many aspects. I will always blame Bush that will never change and I will say that no matter who came into office we would still be in the same mess. Perhaps if it was a Mccain who was elected as the new Potus I assume this bill would not have been talked about and put in motion, but then again what are the real answers to solutions to our medical care as a nation. Again as always I will always mention the war, we cannot ever forget and it should always be discussed and again on that issue I am upset with Obama for I fear it will never end, cost us billions and billions more and more death shed and if and when we do retreat what will happen to us and that country. Again its a sad day in our nation, we all cannot be happy and made to be satisfied but I just do not know anymore or actually sometimes have the energy to care there are just too much issues or problems. Peace. Catherine

Your sentence doesn't apply to the meaning. It would be something more like : that dress looks good but it makes your butt look big. Or I want to save money but lobster is darn good. Or I know someone who claims to be perfect but she swears like a longshoreman.

Youtube was loading too slow for me. Did it include Bush saying "Who gives a sh*t?" at the G-8 summit? Or flipping off folks in Austin?

Of course politicians from both sides are caught being bad. But this thread was about Biden. What he did was take a monumental moment for the Dems and cheapen it with his foul mouth. It actually made me feel bad for Obama, no matter how against what he was announcing I am. SO.....no I don't like the classless things that any public figure may be caught doing...and I don't defend it, but that's not what this thread was about...
