How sad. I grew up in CA and remembered the Steven Stayner story. He died of an accident some years ago and now this. What a horrendous thing to have to overcome in life. My prayers are with the family and I hope they are both finally at peace in Heaven.

This whole story is tragic. Steven Stayner died in a motorcycle accident. I seem to remember that his sister died in the terrorist attacks (not sure about this). His BROTHER was convicted a few years ago for murdering some female campers at some park...the details are very sketchy for me. It's almost like everyone touched by this case was cursed or something.
