I have noticed since the site changed, there are less postings. Where is everyone???

I think some people were bothered by the smaller print? Not sure.

Maybe there are some "gliches" for people? I know I couldn't read any of the threads when it first switched over, I actually made a posting asking how to read a thread. Once I made a post everything was ok, I could then read a post. If other people were having the same problem, but don't post much, they may have gotten discouraged.

I had problems finding the Cafe when it changed. I emailed the powers that be and got no response. So maybe others have given up for the same reason. If you can't get someone to respond with suggestions on a fix, then why waste your time?

For me personally I also do not like the small print however I still will post, but I also have been busy with my daughter Caitlin it was her 18th birthday last weekend and also she is graduating from High School on the 29th of June and have been busy with the prom and her dress and getting all her stuff ready for college, we were busy looking at colleges, but she finally decided to go with School of Visual Arts in New York City with photography as her major along with painting. Also always busy with my parents and a new puppy and work, there is alot going out with our school district this year, out principal is retiring after 43 years and so is the head of the school district and the principal of the middle school so this graduation which is attended by all principals is going to be very sentimental we are a very very small school district. Along with that, like I do not have alot we are adding a new addition to our home and construction starts in one week yikes... we are taking down the wall down between our dining room and our kitchen is coming down to create one huge new kitchen , then what is our den which is huge will be the new dining room , finally more room to entertain, old dining room way too small last christmas was so tight. Then the new addition truly to the home will be outside we are adding a huge a big big room the new den/family room with catherial ceilings and then we are taking down the old deck and putting a stone flat patio and finally the pool is coming down the kids have gotten too old to use it, we are adding a jacuzi for us. Whew well that is whats up with me at least. Peace to all. Catherine

It's disappointing to have these boards so quiet. I don't normally post, but I love coming here to read what others have posted. I've learned a lot from these boards over the years! I hope things pick up soon.

Hate to say this but it seems like a lot have gone to HotCouponWorld,once that got going good this site just wasn't what it use to be and I miss it! This use to be the place to come too,but not so any more.

I have never heard of hotcouponworld but checked it out. OMG...WAY too many forum boards. They need to combine some of those and narrow down your choice! There are over 55 *boards* to chat. I have a hard enough time just getting to this one board...no way I am going to monitor that many

They do have "insiders" who know in advance when the stores will triple coupons and also get the ads early,so it does help alot. You just go to the boards you are interested in,don't bother with the rest!

Thanks crittles and Christine for all the good wishes. As far as the renovations goes I have to tell you all that my husband has his own family business which is building brand new homes. So having your own construction company makes this renovation a bit easier all around, since we designed the plans and my husband did the drawings and will over see most of the work, his has all his own men doing all the work, but it still will be messy for awhile that is why we waited till the warm weather and also I am also done with work. I have another small but full kitchen downstairs in our finished basement so being without a kitchen will not be that bad... As far as my dd is concerned that is very emotional for me on all levels, and yet while we are very proud of her , its bittersweet . As far as the new puppy Christine sweetie we got another sheltie and we named him Jax he is soooooooo adorable and what a lover, literally when you say his name over and over he cries sooo much and loves loves to give many kisses. I have basically stopped coming to this site because the powers that be do not care about the members. They do not notify anyone of any changes and the changes they make are NOT user friendly. They have basically ran off most of the old members with this crap. I have been going to another site that is alot more easier to read. This change is the worst they have ever made and I have been a member on here from back when we had to PAY to be a member. 12 + yrs. The more they change things here, the worse it becomes till I am just tired of it.

I've been out of state for a few weeks working on my aunt's estate. The whole thing was/is a total mess. And I still hate Texas! Not everyone but it certainly hasn't been a good experience at all. I almost cried when I crossed the Texas border on the way home I was so happy to be leaving!

I haven't been here in a while. Just been busy and the boards had gotten really boring. Seems a lot of people are not here now.

It seems in the summer the board always slows down. People are outside, kids are at home, vacations are going on, and in general, people do not seem to spend as much time on the computer. It will start picking up again once summer is over.

Just got back from two weeks in Destin, Florida.
LOVED IT! We were having such a great time we extended our trip another four days.

Before that though, the flavor around here had changed. Until the right "balance" of people show up again, it could be a while before this community board thrives again.
Until then, I pass through and only read sometimes.
