Just wanted to share...:0)

Last weekend my family had planned a 25th wedding anniversary party for my husband and I. I was not allowed in on the planning, just allowed to give opinions on color food etc... My husband, daughter and niece took care of all the details. My daughter sent out the most lovely invitations, I think they were nicer than the originals. It was Sunday afternoon and mostly relatives with just a few close friends. About 70 people. Well, there were constant hints of a surprise, but I tried not to think about it to not spoil it and the actual day I had completely forgotten, so the surprise was truly a surprise!!!!

At dinner, my grand niece and grand nephew sat with us to eat which I thought was so sweet, not thinking a thing! I just thought they would have preferred to be with the other kids. Still no clue...lol

A few minutes after everyone was finishing their meal,( I hadn't noticed that my husband and nephew had disappeared) out comes my nephew and husband in tuxes!!! DH comes out drops to one knee and asks me if I will marry him again!! He proposed, again, with a hose clamp with a rock attached (yes he thinks he's funny). It was SO sweet and funny, just like him. So everyone goes back into the sanctuary and we have a renewal ceremony. My 82 yo father got to walk me down the aisle again. It was precious. They even had the most gorgeous bouquet for me!!!!

So after some giggles at the altar, we start our vow renewal and out come two new rings!! They were gorgeous!!!! It was too small and i just said "I don't care what ya gotta do.....get it on!!" lol

It was SO fun and everyone loved it! Most of the guests had no idea it was going to happen either.

It's by far the most romantic thing he's ever done, and since the first proposal was during Cujo, I think he owed me!! lol

What a great story

Obviously he is a terrific husband, BUT you must also be a terrific wife if he put so much thought and effort into making that day so special for you

Thanks guys...I've been smiling about it for a week! He is sweet...

I was also overwhelmed by the people that have been there through thick and thin with us, know us really well, and were there to share the day with us. I think they enjoyed it as much as we did.
