I haven't watched since Season 1....my kids are up at that time SO...I hope to catch up over the summer. I have many friends who watched and about 75% of them loved the ending and the other 25% hated it.

I only saw the first season, but found it to be very suspenseful. So, in the finale everyone actually died in the plane crash and everything else didn't really happen?

They didn't all die in the plane crash, they died at different times. I thought this was a nice overview of the finale and actually made sense of a few things I was left wondering about. I particularly liked Ben's reaction to Hurley finally giving him a chance to be a leader and helper. One thing I wondered, though, if they were in purgatory waiting to go to heaven or hell, did Ben end up going to hell since he didn't enter the church with the rest of them? I don't know... http://marquee.blogs.cnn.com/2010/05...e-ages/?hpt=C2 I loved Lost! I will miss it! Lisa

I know they didn't die in the plane crash. Jack's Father told him some died before him and some died well after him...probably speaking of Aaron (although Aaron is seen as a baby in the church, he may have died as an adult). I just thought there would be more explanation about the Island, the light and the supernatural part of it. I think Ben did not go in the church because he still had to resolve, get past, issues in his former life. I think he is still in Purgatory and the others are in the Church to cross-over. What I meant about being cheated was... having everyone meet up after they died just seemed to be a "logical" ending. I really expected more of a surprise. LOST was epic, as far as television shows go. I loved it and will miss not seeing any more of the survivors of Oceanic 815. Last edited by dnj51; 05-25-2010 at 12:52 PM. |
