gadgets to find lost things?

I misplace a lot of stuff like glasses, keys, my date book, etc.
Anybody here use any of the finder things on the market? Do they work?
TIA

I haven't used a finder thing BUT my DH used to misplace his stuff like keys, etc ALL the time when we were first married. I bought him a big bowl and when he gets home, he dumps his wallet, keys, sunglasses, cell phone, spare change, etc into the bowl. That way, he always knows where they are at. He hasn't had a problem since. We used to have ours by the front door in our old house and it's in our closet now (which is closer to the garage where he comes in).

I don't know what you'd use to help you find lost things...perhaps a psychic? HAHA!

I totally agree with sexysmurf's suggestion. We use a wicker tray on our table. I'm a firm believer in everything has it's place and keep it in it's place. It will get lost as soon as it moves from it's normal resting place too!
