What a good looking kid! I can't imagine NOT being proud of him and his accomplishments. Whatever you did raising him seems to have worked really well! Keep up the good work!

Thank You for the compliment. With regards to how he solves it blindfolded, the way I understand it, the minute he looks at the cube he starts memorizing which move he will do to turn the cube. It is critical that he does not turn the wrong way or the next step will not work. Because of this, it is so common on Blindfolded competitions for the competitors to have a dnf(did not finish) on record. When he won first place 2 months ago, he was the only one that was able to complete a solve so no 2nd placer or 3rd placer for the Blindfold event, not very common but it happened so that win was especially special for him.

| His initial plans were to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in Stanford, that was his dream but his application was rejected so he decided to pursue the next best thing which is a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. I am hoping that he will pursue Computer Science too maybe at another University at a later time but whatever he decides will be fine with me. He knows Mommy is his biggest fan.
