Does anyone here watch Days of Our Lives? What do you think about all the "old" people coming back? Did you like the way they handled the passing of Alice Horton? I think Kayla looks GREAT! She hasn't aged at all. I know it hasn't been too long since she's been on but I think she looks like she is much thinner and her hair is longer. Very pretty. Kimberly looks a little aged to me. Jennifer still looks the same. Anyone disappointed that Jack and Abby didn't come with her? I am. Do you think Mike Horton will stay on for awhile now since he's hurt? Any thoughts on what Kate found in Madeline's envelope? Please post any of your thoughts! Just thought it would be a fun thread for all us DOOL fans!

I don't know if I could have brought my self to watch the memorial episode for Alice Horton! My Granny looked so much like her, I think I'd have been a blubbering mess....

Omg I almost forgot Hope and Bo he was soooooooooooo cute and Grandma Alice and Tim Mcdonald I loved both of them so much I can close my eyes and hear Mcdonald saying the beginning words to the soap opera as sands goes through the hour glass so does the days of our lives ... I watched.... I thought it was very good but I would have loved a whole day of Alice clips with everyone. No mention of Tommy.. I was surprised... I was suprised Jack wasn't there. I loved him. Really like the new Bill He is a cutie pie... Sure missed Mickey. I wish they wouldn't have killed him off just recently and he could have come back too. I love the old clips..... Kim and Shane will be good this week. He is looking for work, so maybe they'll bring him back with Kim....

In the envelope I think it is Chad's birth Certificate with Stefano listed as the father.

I think you are right about Chad and Stephano. That's the first thing I thought of. Catherine ~ These are the people they brought back: Kimberly, Shane, Kayla, Melissa, Jennifer, Mike Horton, Marie, Bill and Laura. Am I missing anyone? Oh and a couple weeks ago they brought Caliope back! She had a few episodes. Not sure if she will have any more to come. I'm guessing they just brought these peolpe back for the Alice Horton story line. Although, it would be interesting if they started some new storylines with these old characters. I have a question for an oldtimer? When they were showing clips from old shows, they showed Julie talking to Alice about a court case. Alice asked Julie what she would do if she lost custody I think? Who was her kid? I don't remember a lot about Doug and Julie. I know Doug is Hope's father but Julie isn't her mother right? So now that I think of it, who is Hope's mother? And wasn't Laura crazy at one time? Or wasn't Jen's one-time husband or boyfriend poisoning her to make her crazy? Something in the paint they used in her house? Oh gosh, now I'm getting all confused! lol

kbain did'nt Jennifer and Jack get married and have a child its been so long. Caliope omg what trivia I totally remember that name because it was so different. Catherine ~ Jack and Jennifer are married and have 2 kids. Patch was back and had a pretty big storyline about a year or so ago. I hope him and Kayla both come back to stay! But I think Patch is on another soap now. Not sure though.

The baby Julie was talking about was David. His father was David Martin, but was raised by Scott Banning and Susan Martin.

Julie is Hope's half sister. Her mother is Addie, She died saving Hope. Hope was in a stroller and Addie was hit by a car and she pushed Hope out of the way.

Yes Laura was crazy, she was in a catatonic state for about 20 years, until Vivian saved her...I do remember the paint incident but can't for the life of me remember the details.

OK I found the part about the paint...Later that year, Laura Horton spotted Jennifer’s boyfriend Peter talking with a man on the docks. However, Peter feared that Laura would eventually learn that the man was a drug dealer and enlisted the aid of Daniel Scott to gaslight Laura. Daniel dated Laura and even had her office repainted. But the paint was toxic and it caused Laura to become drowsy. Using a speaker built into a souvenir bust in Laura's room, Peter made Laura believe that he was planning on killing Jennifer.

Mary ~ Thanks for all the info. I looked at the website you posted and it was full of information! Altough we were trying to figure out the story with Phillip and the baby he had years ago, Tyler. I didn't find much info on that. How did he come to find out he had a kid? And who's the mother? Didn't Patch and Kayla have him for awhile and call him "Pocket"? Was that all from the story with Mimi? Wasn't there an embrio switch or something? I kind of remember her Mom Bonnie trying to make a "deal" with Kate maybe or someone for the baby? For money? I hate when I remember bits and pieces of a storyline. I just remember there being a storyline with Shawn, Mimi, Belle, and Phillip. Some sort of pregnancy and switch type of thing. lol But thanks for the info on Hope!

Isn't that site great? I found it when I was looking for spoilers some time ago. I refer to it quite often when I get lost....

The mom is actually Mimi...(remember she had an abortion that caused infertility?) She had her eggs and Phillip's sperm, (was supposed to be Shawn D's) implanted into a surrogate Lauren. Bonnie, Mimi's mom paid her off to hide the baby. Later she came back, taunting Phillip, trying to get money out of him. Big search to find her and then died falling down a flight of stairs, from what I remember. Then the whole poisioning issue with Patch and Kayla, then he was adopted by someone else....You probably can find more out under Tyler on that site.
