It should be interesting for you! My husband works for the State-Department of Mental Health and they have a contract with the DOC (Dept of Corrections) he goes to the local prison 3 times a week to run drug & alcohol groups, he's a liscensed drug and alcohol counselor and gambling addiction counselor. He was a bit leary at first but now he doesn't mind it at all.

I am in Boise today and will be home tomorrow. It was very interesting going into prison. The first day I was in maximum security and the second in minimum. Very different men, very different experiences. One man was literally in the wrong place at the wrong time the other did things that were out of character for him because he was using. The people at the prison were extemely helpful and nice they bent over backwards to facilitate what I was doing. It was interesting talking to the other friends/relatives as we waited for the doors to open. They were asking me questions and were very curious as I was alowed to take my laptop and my work bag in with me. Idaho is okay however I prefer Western Oregon and its' lush forests and greenery everywhere. It's pretty dry and brown here and in Eastern Oregon. The first day was fun, the second was okay. Here I am on day four and I am SO over it all. LOL I just can't wait to get home tomorrow. It's lonely traveling solo and each hotel has its' own shortcomings no matter the cost or rating. I'm finished with work and waiting for my room to be cleaned then I can check in and I was thinking about checking out Kuna days. Kuna Days 2010 Anyone nearby?
