Hi everyone. I'am not trying to be rude, but where has all the good deals moved to. Seems like no one ever posts on the LWIF. I miss it. Christmas is coming up and I'am looking for any good deals out there. Does anyone know of another board or another site that I can find good deals like what used to be here.

Pretty much moved to other sites. the board owners here decided to "fix" things around here and not listen to the forum users when the complaints started rolling in so not many people post anymore. I come back to look a couple times a month and not heart broken if I miss a month. you'll probably get some messages from others suggesting some boards to try out.

I look for deals daily and there just haven't been many decent deals in a couple months. Amazon has dried up, for the most part.

I post the deals I find that I think most of the people on the board would like to know about, but a lot of the deals are tech deals for higher-end electronics. I just don't know what kind of things people want to know about because no one ever comments about a deal - good, bad, or otherwise.

If anyone wants to know about specific items or categories let me know and I'll post what I find.

I have pretty much left this site after being a member since like 1999.The powers that be keep changing everything without caring that some pcs have trouble running their " new and improved" programs. This site use to be the best site until whoever is in charge took it upon themselves to FIX what wasnt broken and proceeded to break it. It takes forever for pages to load, posts are removed for no reason by the mods. In other words, this site sucks now. I will be popping back in every once in a while to see if it is any better but from the looks of things, this wonderful improvement they made has ran about everyone off. This is worst than the stupid clover war they started with another one of their "IMPROVEMENTS"
I have moved on to a few other sites where the deals are posted, the mods are friendly and they dont think they have to IMPROVE anything.

Hi Kelly. I'm sorry I haven't sent it out yet. I must confess that I need to just sit down here and get to it! They are all saved in my favorite places. Some I've found out are doubles and others I've just written down on a piece of paper. So far, there must be almost one hundred of them. Some are good deal alerts, but not all. Some are printable coupon sites, codes, forums, etc. It's so long that I don't think I could fit into PM's on here. I may have to email y'all when I finish. I have to work until 7:00 tonight. DH is out of town so when I get home I know I'm going to have alot to do. Particularly all of the kids paperwork from school. I want to finish this and get it out. Thank you for your patience everyone. I don't want to say that I'm going to do something and then not do it. I apologize it's taken forever! I'm one of the regulars from long ago and would check this board and comment numerous times a day. It used to be the first place I'd go to every day. I can't remember the last time I checked in here.

It's sad that this board has gone downhill. Wish the 'powers that be' would listen to the ones who kept this board popular --- US!!!

If you google "deal sites" you will find a pretty nice list.

Tossing out the sponsored link, the first result is a site I use regularly. The sixth link is also pretty great. Be warned, however- there are many, many more offers than we ever saw here. It takes much longer to peruse and the users there can be quite greedy and impolite.

Just so you know, the mods have nothing to do with what goes on here. I am not on here near as much as I used to be either. I will say that it is not all the boards fault. After all of these years of trying to find travel deals, or spending a few hours trying to help someone with a travel destination, I kind of got tired of never even getting a thank you. I felt like I was wasting my time. If no one lets me know that the information is useful, I really see no reason to keep posting. It is not like any of us get paid to do this. I have always done it because I enjoyed it. I guess everyone just moves on eventually. I hope some of you come back and try again. Perhaps if you gave us some more feedback it would help us all.
