WOW!

Had the best weekend.....

I got to go to Rockin' the Rivers on Friday, and got to spend some quality time w/ my favorite guy. Rockin' the Rivers is a 3 day music festival in Three Forks, MT. I

I got to see Bret Michaels! And Dokken! Bret puts on a helluva' show. Considering all the health problems he has had of late--he is still full of energy and dancing all over stage.
Although I realized I am way to old to be down in front of the stage. I took an elbow to the head/eye when security was removing one of many rowdy drunks

Then I got to spend the night with my favorite man. Even though we have yet to "consumate" the relationship(and yes, that's by choice--taking things very slowly), we got to spend some really quality cuddling time. Better than anything I ever had in my 15 years of marriage! I was just planning to go down, see Bret Michaels and then come home--but he asked me early in the week to stay because he didn't want me driving home late--he said he'd worry about me. (again-more than I ever had in 15 years...)

Best of all: My boys like my guy. They think he's great. They love his granddaughters (15 mo and 5 mo.), and actually ask to go over to his house...
*sigh* I'm so blessed. I think I managed to find one of the few of the remaining "good" guys left in the world!

I know exactly what you mean: I, too, found a "good" guy about 12 years after my divorce

Omg Marilyn I am so sincerely happy for you and your new special guy and especially for your sons. All sounds sooooooo wonderful and honestly after all you have gone through you most certaintely deserve it all 100 percent. Btw my son loves loves Bret Michaels and him and my kids and dh saw his concert as well in Connecticut and loved it so much. I gotta say Bret Michaels is a cute cute guy. Sounds like a wonderful time and he sounds like a keeper. Nothing wrong with taking things slow. Good that your kids like him. As for the concerts. OH WOW!!! Love Bret Michaels. Seen Poison 3 times now (Once in the early 90's and twice in the past 5-6 years). Seen Dokken twice (mid/late 80's and about 5-6 years ago). Boy I miss the 80's! LOL
