Bull Fighting

This morning, I watched one of those stories on video showing a bull, already bleeding from his inflicted injuries, that actually jumped into the area where the spectators watch a bull fight, causing some injuries but nothing serious. This was in Spain, I believe. I don't even know why I sat and watched this story, as I knew it would enrage me. Yes, the bull was escaping torture, and that is why he attempted to escape wherever he could. They ended the story by saying that they were able to bring the bull back in the ring where he met his destiny with the bull fighter.

The so called sport of bull fighting gets me so enraged. I don't understand the mentality of those that enjoy watching a slow, painful, intentional death of an animal. What kind of people would enjoy being a spectator at an event like this? I get sickened beyond belief at the mere thought of it.

I agree completely. It's barbaric. I'd love to visit Spain, but I won't go unless they stop this practice.

I agree. I know bulls are way more agile than they appear, but that was amazing watching him jump out of that arena. I don't understand enjoying watching them be tortured and not be able to get away. I know it's their culture, but it's still mean.

Any so called "sport" that involves forcing animals to hurt each other or forcing them to endure fear and pain is barbaric.
If two consenting men want to beat each other let them go at it but an animal has no choice. How we treat those amongst us who are powerless says a lot about human beings.

I agree totally with what you all have said. My daughter went to Valencia, Spain in February on a student exchange. Plans included a trip to a bullfight. They ended up cancelling it and the kids did something else. I was happy about that. No, I never saw a bullfight and would never want to. ~Lisa

Angry

As a huge animal activist I totally agree with all the comments thus so far. To be anyone who can harm a animal is a coward out and out, further more did anyone know about the bull who about 2 months got the bull fighter right into his throat and out his mouth with one of his horns I was so happy. I seriously wished the man would have died right there, I know the bull was killed but at least he did inflict alot of pain on the coward bullfighter, there is no way anyone could ever convince me this is sport . Honestly I cannot understand how people can sit there and view this sport sick sick world same goes for hunting just for the sport sick sick and cowards. No peace here only for the animals. Catherine
