I'm so sorry that happened! Thankfully, it sounds like you weren't hurt too badly. I don't work for an insurance company, but we were in a wreck last weekend in route to Galveston to board the cruise ship for our vacation. Towing was directly billed to the insurance company, so that was nice. As far as the rental, our insurance company has a deal with Enterprise, so we waited to deal directly with them. We could have gotten a car from another organization, but we would have had to pay for it, then be reimbursed. Setting it up through them, we were able to get a discounted rate so we could get a nicer car as well as having it billed directly to the insurance company. As far as the claim goes, it will depend on when the adjuster gets there to check out the vehicle. That was done for us within about 2 days. Thank goodness they are able to repair our vehicle. It's paid off and only has about 50,000 miles so I was NOT excited about having to buy something new and have car payments again. Yuck. Hope it all works out for you!!!!!
