Have you tried the Yakisoba noodles? I don't know which was worse, the smell or the taste. If you like the product - good for you.

Gain dish soap can be found at Dollar General for $1.

Well, it didn't involve coupons, but I got 30 books, many hardbacks for 18.00. They should hold me for a while.

Laundry detergent! I bought several containers of All free and clear powder for $2.99 each (normally almost $6.50 each). If I get my hands on some more coupons, I'll buy some more.

Gain Dish Soap is .97 a bottle at Walmart and the coupons were for 1.00 a bottle so I made .03 a bottle.
My 15 year old son loves the Yakisoba Noodles so the coupons were god send, I swear he could eat these things for every meal if I would let him.

Awesome deal on Scott tissue! They had a deal week before last on Charmin at Kroger that I missed out on according to a cashier. Charmin 12 Double Roll was on Sale for 5.99 and there was a 3.00 off downloadable coupon to your kroger card on their site making it 2.99.
Of course I was a day late!!

Good Deal on the Books JuJuBee my mom would die for that deal, she reads every day.

Heather check ebay for the All coupons, thats where I go when all else fails.

I am going to have to go there to find me some Powerade coupons I think, I need some .75/2 coupons.

Happy Stockpiling Ladies, Lets keep a "What are You Stockpiling" Post going. This could be interesting and informative.

Your trick-or-treaters are going to be so confused when they find that dish soap in their treat bags.

I've been stocking up on the new kind of Right Guard, because my husand's a picky SOB when it comes to deodorant.

How does one get 60(or 20, 47,50) coupons...legitimately? Don't they usually say one per customer? That's one reason why most of the stores around here no long accept on line coupons.

Most coupons (not all) state "one per purchase" and each item is a purchase.

If it said "one per customer" then the customer could use that particular coupon on one item, not 10 of those on 10 items.

One can buy extra papers, share among friends, print from online websites, do a rebate which nets them coupons mailed directly from the manufacturer, find some in doctor/dentist's offices, find them in fliers and in dispensers (blinkies) at teh grocery store, and trade online just to mention a few.

On-line coupons are a different issue. Many stores do not accept online coupons that were printed because people found a way around the valid limit to be printed, or just make up their own fraudulent coupons.

I trade for mine from the coupon swap board, and get relatives to save their Sunday inserts for me and get friends from church to save the inserts for me. From my shopping trips this week there was only one internet printable coupon and it was one that could be printed daily and it was a $2 steak coupon.

I love this post. I've been thinking I need to get back to the heavy couponing for a while, so this is a great reminder.

Thanks SO much for posting!

You can trade for the coupons her on MC or other sites or you can get them on ebay. Some coupons can be printed on the internet but me myself I stay away from those, my stores most of the time dont take them anyways.

And no they don't all say one per customer they normally say one per purchase and every item you buy is a purchase.

I meant for the printable ones...I was thinking that these coupons were being printed out from the internet(they only want you to use one per household). I realize you can use "real" coupons one per item. And if you trade for coupons, don't they then have to be mailed? So there's postage $$$...I guess I'm just trying to figure out how someone can get something for nothing. You'd have to get a whole stack of coupons to make up for the cost of a postage stamp. Coupons on ebay? This is all new to me though....

Couponsrock- how you get something for nothing: in my case, I have a grocery store that doubles 1.00 coupons, another grocery store that doubles .50 coupons. When you can double $1.00 coupon to $2.00 that is a big savings, when you combine that $2.00 svaings with a sale THAT is when you get stuff for free.

Of course not everything is going to be free, but it's fun playing the game and seeing how cheap you can get it. For me this week I am getting 8 packs of Juicy Juicy for .66, Chunky Soup for .25 a can, DelMonte veggies .30 a can, tuna is still on sale, a 3 day sale coming up on Friday and I will get Imperial Sugar for .89 for a 4lb bag. You wait for the sale then use the coupons. Then some stuff is just regular price. It's a game.

I almost stockpile literally everyday and cannot pass up a bargain I love love love coupons and will never ever stop using them. I am the coupon Queen well at least in my town anyway lol. For us we clean the papers from our 7-11's me and my cohort coupon nut friend lol Maria we do this every sunday night. For doing the cleaning we get all the papers which we donate to the animal shelters for the cages and then we get to keep all the inserts. I also have 2 aunts one in Minnesota and one in Upstate New York whom both have convience stores and I get all these extra inserts. I also trade with many people here on mycoupons.com and some other websites. I also pick up alot of coupons that are all over my stores. To all here you all have done a wonderful job keep up the good work love to see my final totals at the end and love saving so much money peace to all . Catherine

Well ILL, that makes sense that someone that has access to coupons like that could save a lot of money...unfortunately that's quite the unique opportunity and not many of us have access to tons of unwanted inserts/coupons!
Coupons all over the store? Never see that?

Our grocery stores only double up to 99 cents. With most coupons being only 25 cents off, that's not that great. Plus no free newspaper inserts for me.

But anyway, thanks for the tips though...

Dumpster divin' ain't my style...HA! I've actually looked at the recycle bins without any success and I'm not going to dive in and dig..HAHAHA! Actually I have been known to grab a couple things off the top from time to time...a nice jewelry box...very nice tv trays, several like new kitchen trash cans. But I haven't seen any unused Sunday papers at the recycle bin EVER!

OMG yes eBay for coupons! You can purchase any coupons you want in quanities on ebay for a handling fee. Anytime I can't seem to trade for the coupons I need or the amount of coupons I want I go straight to eBay (not to mention I am an eBay nut anyways).

I too have tried the recycling bins for inserts back years ago and never had any luck, half the time where I live I can't even buy a paper in any of the stores here with inserts in our papers, tried buying papers 3 months straight and not an insert one in 3 different papers each week.
It's easier for me purchase or trade for what I need.

Laura do not know where you live but here in Long Island New York we have triples and doubles been like that for years. We also have alot of 7/11 stores and I personally and my friend we visit and take advantage of all the stores we have many chains and there are always coupon pads and booklets all over you just have to look. However nothing beats Publix those stores are down south they put out wonderful coupon booklets that is why I love going to Florida 2 times a year I could live in those stores. Peace for now. Couponsrock, besides what others have posted about where to find/get coupons, here are a few more hints.. whenever you stop to get gas, go inside the little convenice store I always seem to find some really good tear pad coupons for drinks hanging on the doors. If you travel, stop at truck stops and check in there too (my dad and brother both drive and they have found me a lot of inserts and tear pad coupons from their trips) you could also order from a coupon clipping service. HTH and happy shopping

I live in Middle TN, We have one store that double up to and including .50, finding tearpads and any other of coupons where I live is like finding a gold mine! Litteraly! But I do pretty good, with an average of 70 to 87% savings each week with coupons that I trade for and purchase on ebay along with potlucks I purchases here and there.

I also hit every store in town, every sale in town regardless if I have a coupon or not. We stockpile all we can (speaking of which... I need to get hubby on building some shelves...LOL)
Anywho.... we dont do bad on savings considering.

I want a Publix here, our closest one is 2 hours away.

I agree I love Publix especially for all the wonderful and large amounts of coupon booklets they have in the large turnstyle right when you enter the store, plus there are blinkies that start with a 5 so they will double here we only get ones which start with a 9 . They also have many wonderful tearpads . The only thing I do not like is that they do not double I will die without my doubles and triples. Peace. Catherine

Barilla pasta is on sale this week for $1. Every time you buy three, you get a catalina for $2 off when you buy 3. I've gone back several times, getting 3 pounds for $1. DH thinks we have a bout 30# now, and the week isn't over!

You can freeze the cheese. I always stock up when I get a great deal on cheese, although I haven't gotten that for free in a very long time.... Good job!

Actually I could if I really wanted to but he doesn't like his woman being seen going through trash in a dumpster so I respect him and don't.I can understand that. And yes I let him forbid me to do things and he lets me forbid him to do things. We call it compromising and it works out for us.

I used to dumpster dive for inserts and my DH HATED it. He thought it was absolutely ridiculous and I'll admit that I felt a little silly doing it. My sister and I would go together, so we could laugh at ourselves together. It was crazy! I don't know that I would do it again... We actually almost got arrested. 5 or 6 years ago I read on here that people were finding great stuff that had been tossed by Best Buy, Linens N Things, Bed, Bath, and Beyond and stores like that, so my sister and I decided to try it out one night. We drove really slow around the back of those stores and looked at the dumpsters. There was nothing of any worth, so we went to get a burger. Imagine our surprise when we are SURROUNDED by 5 cop cars!!!! YIKES!!!!! They came up to the car with lights and guns. Apparently, there had been a string of robberies at those stores. We made up a story about me losing my wedding ring and they let us go. It was pretty obvious we weren't hardened criminals. It was scary, though, and the last time we've had anything to do with dumpsters....

I'm here to tell ya! My husband wouldn't dare forbid me to do anything if he knows what's good for him anyway! HAHAHA! Personally I can't imagine why MY husband would care less if I get stuff out of a dumpster except that maybe he'd be worried about there being some man there because those recycle places are kind of scary when you think about it. Some looney could be waiting to attack some unsuspecting woman that's all alone. I only go to the wide open Sam's Club ones to take my recycle anymore. So ladies, don't go alone to those creepy secluded recycle sites!

Laura 7055, I also live in Middle TN, and I am going to make you salivate. I have both Publix and Kroger 2.5 miles from my house, Aldi's 3 miles away, Super Wl-Mart 3.5 miles down the road, and ANOTHER set of Publix/Kroger 6 miles from my house. And if I'm really on a coupon/shopping roll, there are 4 other Kroger and 2 other Publix within a radius of 18 miles.

Nah...you learn to just leave threads like this one alone!! I remember when I started coming here umpteen years ago and reading about all the coupon deals. It's so frustrating to read all the good deals and not be able to do the same.

LOL I have been coming here since 99 so I have seen tons of awesome deals and read lots post about stores that double and triple and know the ones in area never will but I am totally thrilled for those who have them available to them.

I think I get just excited for people as they get for themselves! LOL

LOL! We have a grocery store here that doubles up to .50 HOWEVER, they will not double on sale items. It takes forever to check out because they go through each coupon to be sure that item wasn't on sale. I haven't shopped there in years. ..well I do go there occassionally for meat - they have awesome meat - but I don't shop there for deals.

OMG and I complain about my stores! That just goes to show us all, just when we think we have something to complain about there is always something worse or crazier in this situation.

I bet the cashiers hate their jobs!

I know. When they 1st started it, it would depend on the cashier you got. After I got one that had a sale flyer right there and it took forever because she kept checking everything against the flyer. The computer was set up to double up to 50 cents and she would override the things that were on sale. I complained and she told me their policy was posted at the front of the store. I never checked, I didn't care, I just quit going there. It was a miserable experience! I would hope if they still do it, that the computer is updated to know what's on sale or not, but like I said, I usually only go there for a meat sale or when I'm looking for something I can't find. I don't got there for deals anymore. It's kind of an upscale store....it's very nice, but just not worth it to me.

Wink

Most cashiers love me or at least really like me and Maria or whoever we bring with us, at this point they know us all too well lol because we do it all the time and have so many coupons. However there are some who really get heated and complain and of course they are always plenty of people behind us to complain, I used to turn around and say when you pay my bills I will stop using coupons, now I just laugh, I think they are quite jealous of the savings. As far as cashiers goes it is their job to take the coupons and if they get really nasty I will just say kindly get your manager to please come over . Sometimes they treat you like a common criminal. I do know there are people out there who abuse the coupons and use fraud ones and expired ones and try to use coupons for the wrong items which in turn as made it bad for us to do the right thing. Just trying to save money for our family. Peace. Catherine
