I have eaten good 'ole plain M&Ms forever. Some things, you just do not mess with success! The dark chocolate was nasty, the peanut butter a sad attempt for a Reeses type concoction, and now pretzels. I didn't even know coocnut was an option. You just do not mess with success. Coke learned it, as well as a few other companies. dl |

Umm, I like the coconut ones. They're not as good as real coconut, but they're good enough. Wasn't fond of the pretzel ones, because of the texture, but I liked the dark ones, too. Dulce de leche ones were great, but I haven't seen those for a few years.

OMG I tried the coconut ones cuz I love Almond Joys......talk about wanting to PUKE! They were gross, I ate one from the bag and threw the rest out. I haven't tried the pb ones...but I doubt they'd be as good as the Reeses Pieces. Won't try the pretzel ones....I like pretzels but not in my m&ms, and I don't do dark chocolate. Guess I'll stick to the plain and the peanut ones.

Does anyone remember the Crispy M&M's??? They were the BEST!!! My friend and I ate them all the time at work and then they stopped making them of course. We emailed the company for years to bring them back. They were in a blue bag just like the new pretzel ones. As a matter of fact, when the pretzel ones came out and I saw them in the grocery store for the first time, I thought they were the crispy ones. I almost jumped over the 5 people in front of me in line! |

You can order them from Europe online. Also, I read somewhere they crispy ones will be back in 2011, but I don't know if that is fact. |

The Dulce de Leche were marketed in limited areas, and apparently didn't really "take off". O my lord, but those were extremely sweet and rich. My favorite is peanut M&Ms, and I really like the pretzel ones.

I wasn't impressed with the pretzel ones, but I think that's because me and my kids make homemade chocolate dipped pretzels and man they are good! We even roll some in Heath bits or tint M&Ms after the chocolate. I loathe coconut so I won't try those at all.

![]() Anyway I just buy regular pretzels, the small ones. We buy chocolate and white chocolate almond bark. Melt that down in separate bowls. And then dip the pretzels in. You can roll them in nuts, Heath Bits, mini M&Ms, really anything. Then let them sit on a foil coated cookie until the harden. We like to double dip in each chocolate or drizzle on a second chocolate. We have also mixed a bit or peanut butter with the chocolate and dipped them in that. They don't harden as well as the regular choc ones but they will get pretty hard. I can't wait to make some! They are really so good, so easy to make too. My kids love making them. We have also used animal crackers.
