Prices are going to vary according to where a person lives. Call 2-3 of your local dry cleaners and ask.

The way you worded your original question, it sounded to me like you're wanting to know how much it would cost YOU to get a shirt drycleaned. You didn't ask how much everyone pays for drycleaning.

In our area it is $1.20, but you can usually find someone that has it on sale for .99 a shirt.

I hardly ever go to the dry cleaners but today I went in to inquire about the cost of getting my son's letter jacket cleaned (only the sleeves are leather). Imagine my shock when she quoted me $39.99!!!! Can anyone recommend a place to get a jacket (part leather) cleaned? I really don't want to pay that much.

It has been a while since I have had anything dry cleaned,so I am not up on the prices. Has anyone tried the at home kit? I have wondered how good it works. I was quoted 50.00 to get a suade jacket cleaned. They have to send it to Canada I was told. The chemicles that they use cannot be used in the U.S. I was told.

Be sure to use a reputable leather cleaner and don't spare any expense. Umpteen years ago I had DH's letterman's jacket cleaned by what I thought was a reputable cleaner and they ruined the leather sleeves. Turned out they weren't qualified to clean leather. I was so PO'd because they assured me they could clean the jacket.
