fav gift as a child?

With the holidays coming up we will be purchasing many gifts for kids. What was your fav and what toys weren't worth getting or didn't last long.

The squirrels eat up the acorns...if you just mow over the leave, you'll have the greenest grass on the block!

Ditto!! We haven't raked leaves in a very long time. DH mulches them with the mower.

We hire someone - that's really easy!

I used to do it, but we only have 1/4 acre and it would take 60 bags to hold all the leaves. Oh, and we have only pine trees in our yard. All the leaves blow in from the neighbors. It's like we're a black hole for leaves.

Anyway, when I did it by hand, I just raked and scooped 'em in the bag. The squirrels and chipmunks eat up most of the acorns, so I never worried about them.
