Thanksgiving Plans/What are you thankful for?

I am thanksful for Family. family has always meant alot to me.

As for Our Thanksgiving plans. We are not celebrating ON Thursday. My brother (aged 45)will be in the hospital due to having to have a biopsy on his lungs and a chest tube inserted. He has Pneumonia. He has been sick for over a month and already spent 2 weeks in the hosp. He already had One biopsy but has not gotten better so they are doing another. He feels very weak and loses breath easily. He has however kept his temperature down for over a week so that's a plus. Was running a 103 temp pretty much all the time for several weeks. Due to the fact that My brother had a Kidney transplant a couple years ago he is at risk to get anything easily..has weak immune system due to the anti-rejection drugs he has to take. Anyways we are hoping he feels like joining us Saturday at my sisters..that is if he is out of the hospital by then too. It will be my sister,Her BF,His 2 girls,Myself and my husband and hopefully my Brother and his wife as well. If he is not feeling up to it or is still in the hospital then we will just take them Some food so at least they get a Thanksgiving Meal.

I hope you all have a happy and safe Thanksgiving as well!

I am thankful for my kids. And I'm thankful for the new friends and family that have allowed me into their lives over the last year!

Plans: We are going to my boyfriend's house. And it's the first Thanksgiving in 7 years that I'm actually excited about and looking forward to....

Its funny, because I've always been thankful for my family and friends. However, as I get older, I am more and more thankful for them! They are a huge part of my everyday life and, for that, I am TRULY thankful!

As for Thanksgiving dinner; I've always held it at my house (20 years!). However, this year, my sister will be doing it, since I just had surgery 2 weeks ago and am not able to be on my feet for all that long. There will be 15 of us and I simply cannot wait to be together!!

I am thankful for a loving family, a good home, a job. I am thankful that I live in a country where people can have opportunity and that is blessed with natural beauty. I am thankful for a warm home, good sense, and the love of God.

Thankful for my kids always. Thankful that my STBX isn't here. And am always thankful for Bunny.

Plans are, to not do very much. Since it's just me and the kidlings this year I asked each of them what special food they wanted. One asked for a turkey leg and pumpkin pie. Another mashed potatoes and gravy. Several wanted chocolate cream pie. One wanted apple pie. One wanted potato salad. So we are having a very scaled back dinner, but three kinds of pie!
