I'm not one much for bragging...but....I am so happy about this.

A recipe that I wrote and won (not the big prize, but a prize winner) in a Betty Crocker contest a couple of years ago is featured in the new "Best of Betty Crocker 2011" cook book. It's on page 270, plus a big color picture at the begining of the section. It was also in the holiday cookie magazine last Christmas.

That is an accomplishment ! A very worthy accomplishment at that. You can call it bragging, and many do just that, however there is a difference.

Nothing for me to brag about except I am so glad I paid attention in school, overall took my studies seriously and am able to speak, write, think, and comprehend in the accepted and expected manner common to most of us. An accomplishment in today's era of the opposite with some.

Congratulations! This is not bragging, at least not in the way I think of bragging. It's also very exciting. I too would like to see the recipe.

I guess if I had to brag, it would be that yesterday, (in spite of a bad hip and tendonitis in my right arm), I put on the table, a Thanksgiving turkey dinner. This would probably be number 42 or so. I'm getting too old for this, but the alternatives are not very appealing.

I'm glad you "tooted" so we could CONGRATULATE you on this awesome accomplishment! -- Way to go! That is super cool!
