Haynes94 (Holly) recently passed away

The horribly mean behavior in another thread made me think of Haynes94. (She was a kind and gentle person.) So I realized she hadn't posted in a very long time and I did a search. She died just a few days ago after a long battle with cancer.

I don't recognize her ID but how terribly sad. 39 years old?! Cancer sucks!

OMgosh! I gasped so loud when I read this that everyone in the room turned around to see what I was reading... I am so sick to hear this!

She was one of my favorites on here. She was so sweet and upbeat even during the hard years with her daughter, battle with cancer and other daily life's ups and downs. I will miss her popping in here and checking on everyone.

I remember when she came and posted pictures of her trying different wigs and when she did a couple of room makeovers in her house, and the sweetest home videos on youtube of her and her husband and family.

too young to go,
Our prayers are with the family,
X

That is so sad tragic news to hear, so very young, may she rest in peace, and finally may God bring comfort all her family and friends...Catherine

I had thought of wether or not to post this myself, as I was friends with her on FB and was on her blog. She never expressed any desire to have this publicized here, so I never inquired.

Holly lived her life to the fullest and during her last few weeks had the great fortune of being able to tell those she loved how she felt about them and to tell them goodbye. It was a life lesson for me getting a glimpse into her life, and I am grateful that she took us along on her journey.

I was friends with Holly on her FB and her blog. I have never known a more courageous woman in my life. She was my hero, and also to many many other people. She lived each day to the fullest, and she lived her life the way many of us do not have the courage to do so.

If you would have seen photos of her the last month of her life, you honestly have never seen her more beautiful. She did not look sick. She was funny, charming, spunky, charasmatic, and leaves a legacy that not many could equal. She had so many friends. Not just casual friends, but close friends who were like family to her and Scott. Her Mom was with her the last 6 weeks of her life and it meant a lot to Holly.

Please continue to keep her family and friends in your prayers. It's going to take a long time for many of them to even start to heal.

Oh, no, that's so sad. I used to read her blog. We lived near each other when I lived in Winston-Salem a long time ago and we used to chat about how the area had changed. We had lost touch a little while back.

Thanks so much for posting this. Rest in peace. You're in pain no more...
