Favorite things

As long as we're talking about favorites, what are some of your favorite things? I don't mean general things, like jewelry or books. I mean specifics. And I mean things, not people, pets, or ideas.

For instance, I love my:

- LL Bean Wicked Good slippers
- LL Bean fleece robe. (Got it for $5.00 at the outlet, regularly about $70!)
- '92 Acura Integra (RIP )
- Garmin nüvi 260W GPS Navigator
- Sony portable DVD player
- Fast Lane Transponder
- HP Notebook

Cool! I'm googling all the things I've never heard about - like Stiletto mascara and Naot shoes. It's like an Oprah "favorites" show, except I don't get one of everything.

I want to see pictures of an airbrushed cake!

I haven't airbrushed an entire cake yet (soon I hope!), but I did airbrush the flowers on my youngest's birthday cake I made for this past weekend (and she designed the cake herself! ).

I love Naot shoes. Once I put on my first pair, it was the only brand I will wear now. I've had my sandals for three years, well this summer will be the forth summer I will wear them, and they still look wonderful.

I love my washer and dryer too. Amana or Whirlpool Something. Frontload. They play music when they are finished. It's the little things

I have a friend that I send a "favorites" box to for her birthday each year. She loves to try new things, so I pick out some of the cool things I've discovered and send them to her. Last year it had a cool mascara, 2 great lotions, a can of coffee from New Orleans, a bottle of Choco Vine wine, warm socks, a book, a gift card to Chipotle, a garlic press, and a sound machine. She calls it the Kim's current/Rosabel's soon-to-be Favorites box. It's kind of fun.

What a great idea! I'll have to do that for one of my friends.

I love:
Trader Joe's chocolate covered pomegranate seeds
Belle & Sebastian, anything they've done, really, which makes me feel like an annoying hipster. I kinda like Ready Made, too, which is just as bad.
Ethereal Dialpad - it's a phone app. I really like my Droid X too, but it's such a fancy phone I'm a bit embarrassed by it.
Micro Sharpies
eos lipbalm
Zyliss ice cream scoops
Fresh & Easy mashed red potatoes and gelatos
Chocolate covered coffee beans
Glade Vanilla/Apple candles
Etsy
Blue Diamond Almond Milk
My cat. She could NOT be kinder or more lovable.

Love that cake. The older I get, the less stuff I seem to need but I do have favorite places. Any place I go to view the wildlife down here but especially the reserve in Lakeland. And, of course, one of the main reasons I moved to Florida... Walt Disney World.

For all you people up north, my sympathy and this from Thursday evening. I continue to get the weather forecasts from the Boston area and the report of another snow storm on Wednesday left me shaking my head. Think Spring!
