I met many rock and roll stars when I was on a local dance show in the early 60's ( I was not a "regular" (one who worked for the show ) but I was there several times a month. The one that stands out from that show was Fabian. He asked me if he could come home with me and have a home cooked meal...I said no.. My mother would have killed me lol
I met numerous sports players and country western stars because back in the day they would mingle with the fans.
I saw John Kennedy's motorcade when he was running for president...Richard Nixon when he was VP.
I have been to many oldies shows (my friend's son was manager at the venue) and saw many of the singers wheeled to the stage in wheelchairs, get out of the chairs perform and return immediately and been attended to by their personal medical staff!!! That is really really scary to watch. I actually stopped going to the shows because this affected me so much. All is not always as it seems.

Okay brain freeze where is my brain today probably all this snow and yet so much more is coming again on tuesday. I totally forgot my all time favorite person and my namesake Lucille Ball omg I adore her to no end. I have so many postcards and magnets and pictures on my refrigerator. Also I have all her dolls, cups, tee-shirts lunch box so many items. In my eyes she was a true classic and no one can ever beat her, she was so funny and ever so beautiful. I have to mention I did meet someone both me and my husband admire, Jon Gruden we have followed his career for a long time. We acutally met him the first time when his brother Jay played in a indoor arena football league. The place was in Florida not to crowded and we were sitting in row 25 and I was watching the game and all of sudden I realized that this man coming up the stairs was Gruden, his dad was behind us and we did not realize it. We have pictures with him and talked for a long time, he was a real gentleman, this was after he was the coach for the Raiders and before he became the coach for the Bucs. We met him 2 more times in Orlando at the Bucs training camp. Love that guy, having lived in New York all my life I have met 3 other famous people, Denis Leary not so nice was rude, Robert Deniro somewhat nice and Liza Minnelli very very nice. I would assume if I lived in the city aka Manhattan I could meet more. From my dad who after he served in the Korean War, went to work for the Yellow Taxi's in the City from 1957-1965 he met and had so many celebraties in his car, and yes Barbra Streisand who then lived in the city, he had her in his car 3 times. He always tells me the story of one day he had Lauren Bacall and her fare at the time so hard to believe was 90 cents, he took her about 8 blocks, she handed him a dollar bill and asked for one nickel back, his tip for the ride was 5 cents too funny... Thanks so much for sharing so far. Catherine

I have met
Rick Schroder (he is a 2nd cousin's wife's sister in law's son)
Alec Jon Such from Bon Jovi
Sebastian Bach from Skid Row (he was sooooo sweet)
A lot of the WWE wrestlers: Undertaker, kane, Chris Jerricho, Rakkishi, Scotty 2 Hottie, Mick Foley, Big Show, x-Pac, and a few others I can't think of

When I was young my dad had a chance to meet Kool and the Gang, he drives a truck and had to pick their equipment up at the airport. He said they annoyed him to no end (and my dad is an easy going guy) and he finally told the one guy to shut up or he would be able to find all their equipment on the side of the Jersey Turnpike

I would love to meet (or would have like to have met)
Lucy
Princess Diana
Jon Bon Jovi (although I did have lunch once with his younger brother Matt)
Josey Scott from Saliva
Michael Easton from One Life to Live
the Pope

I have met (off the top of my head)~
Robert Klein, Lucy Arnez, former governor of NJ, Tom Kean, Marlo Thomas, Celine Dion, Herschel Walker, Usher, Jeff Foxworthy, and Gloria Estefan. Back in the early 90's, my friend and I belonged to an "All My Children" and "Loving" fan club. We went to the club luncheon in NYC and met several of the soap stars from the show...so much fun! ~Lisa

I have met the top people on my list. The late Carl Anderson and Ted Neeley (Judas and JC in the movie Jesus Christ Superstar) and Father John Corapi. Got to go to Carl's home in Ca. and had dinner with Ted on another occassion. I've met Martin Sheen, Steve Martin, Sarah Palin, John McCain, Gary Puckett (got to give him a kiss, lol), Roark Critchlow (days of our lives). I'm sure there are more but I can't remember right now. There's no one else that I would be really excited to meet as I've already met my heros! I guess if I had to list some it would be the late, great Pope John Paul 2, Mother Teresa, George W. Bush, John Denver (I LOVED him in the 70's) and Jerry Lewis. What a list! lol Oh, and Mother Angelica!

Hopefully we will all be meeting Jesus when we die! I'm looking forward to that meeting.
