I have watched a few of these episodes with my kids and caught last nights show. Talk about disappointing and horrifying it was to watch this very popular show almost glorify drinking alcohol. They were trying to do a show about alcohol awareness, but it really showed underage kids drinking and having the time of their life at a party. It only gets better as in another scene, they are drinking bloody marys at school!!! Towards the end, they showed the Glee Club having a drink before they performed in front of the school. I was hoping to see alcohol cast in a negative light, but instead my middle schooler is telling me he wants to go to a party like that one. That show has hit a new low in my opinion.

I don't watch it. I'm not surprised though. Many shows aimed at teens portray undesirable behavior as desirable.

I agree. It started out a lot more innocent with a good storyline; more about the music anyway. Now it's so raunchy. The so-called writers are trying to appeal to older teenagers, although I would bet that it is mostly middle schoolers watching this show.
They have become horrible role models.

I have not watched it, but the music is being played on radio stations here. I am not a fan and change the channel every time.

I love Glee. It has gotten racier but I'm in my 50's so I can watch it. lol Some of the songs they've covered have been fantastic. And ya gotta love Sue. I also get a kick out of Brittany. Her delivery is spot on and she makes me laugh out loud. Could anyone be as dumb as she is?
