For the second year in a row I was lucky enough to be at one of our local parks and see a wonderful sandhill crane family. Like last year, there were two babies.



Mom and Dad kept a close eye on them. In these photos they are only about 4 days old. Still, that didn't stop them from coming over to me and sizing me up.



There was nap time



playtime





and lunchtime.



Also a bit of discipline.



I feel so blessed to be able to see things like this. I love the theme parks in Florida but this is 100 times better.
