Red face

I am here, just been really busy, having several family members sick and myself included. First tomorrow 4/4 My mom is having her 7th bladder cancer operation to remove tumors. Then we found out on 3/24 that my Aunt in South Carolina has stage 4 lung cancer her right lung collasped and she has been given weeks to 2 months to live. Then my father in law, who has been sick, suffering with headaches, dizzy, throwing up, lossing weight, sadly we found out he has a huge cancerous tumor in his brain, he is being operated on thrusday 4/7 early morning. For me my panic attacks have returned, I have also been experiencing some dizziness and a extra heart beat, I have had many tests, but so far, they seem to think it is my nerves. But I check the boards , it seems really slow, hope all is well with everyone.. Catherine

WOW! with that much cancer in your family, I hope that your children get some genetic testing done, and take necessary precautions with their health.

Thanks Marilyn, I agree, it seems lately I have heard so many people suffering from cancer lately. In fact my sister in law no relations her name is Corinne, so many of her female relatives suffered or past away from breast cancer. She was only 21 when her mom age 45 passed away. She recently just came off a year this past October , she had numerous tumors stage 2 breast cancer. She did several months of chemo and radiation, then she had both breasts removed. Luckly she is doing better and sincerely hope cancer does not come back anywhere else in her body. For my mom the doctors have always told her that her bladder tumors and cancer keep coming back, because she was a smoker, however my mom quit this past October and still they came back. For my Aunt on my dads side, she smoked all her life, even with the oxegen, hers is too late, stage 4 nothing they can do for her. For my father in law, he never smoked and was basically very healthy, but stubborn has his brain tumor was growing for months. Peace. Catherine

It seems like most people these days eventually get cancer of some form. It's a very sad state of things indeed. We have so many chemicals and substances we ingest through breathing, eating, drinking and simply coming into contact with them. I seriously don't think it's a matter of genetics. Unless they all have the same form of cancer. Almost everyone I know who has died in the last 20 yrs died from some form of cancer.

I would be having panic attacks too if there was that much cancer going around in my family.
I hope you get to feeling better Lucy.

Catherine, I am very sorry to hear about all the trouble going on in your family. I have experienced panic attacks in the past and even had to go to the ER because of them. Keep your head high, we are praying for you

Unhappy

He had some complications and now the surgery is set for early tomorrow morning 6 a.m. 4/11/11. Need many prayers tomorrow will be a real tough day . For my mom the news is bad as well, she is in alot of pain, the doctor told her, her bladder is really damaged and very weak from all the past 7 surgeries, she cannot hold her urine, she is going to the doctor tomorrow to decide her best options, which really is to remove her bladder. For my aunt in South Carolina, she has hospice at home, she is on all day oxogen, cannot really eat, for her it is a matter of only time,. I did make reservations for me and my other aunt to go to visit her, for 4 days the 15-thru 18 of April. If I do not go because of my mom or my father in law, they will still go. My anxiety level is not good, but thanks to xanax and paxil and my very caring husband and my children I some how get through, and say alot of prayers to heaven for my brother Sonny to give me the strength. Peace to all and many thanks.. God bless everyone. Catherine
