Stainless Steel Sink

We have a double bowl stainless steel sink. My neighbor must be remodeling his kitchen as he put out his stainless steel sink by the garbage, which I gladly took thinking I could make a little money. He has the exact same size as ours, but a large offset double bowl (very large sink with smaller one). I am thinking of switching out the sinks. Which one is most preferred, double bowl of equal size or offset double bowl?

I prefer one big sink with no divider, but with your choices I'd go with the offset double bowl.

I have always liked the double bowl, same size. It allows me to use either side, and I can easily rinse after washing. I have a friend with a double, and then a very small "vegetable" sink in between. What a complete waste that is, she never uses it, but had to have it.

I'd like it for the reason of having the one large size so it's easier to wash large pots in...the small side I guess would be useful for washing hands etc. I don't particularly like my two equal sided sink since it's very hard to wash large pots in. I think that I'd prefer one large sink though. I'd also put in a high arched faucet while I was at it!

That's exactly why I have one big sink. In a regular divided sink, there's not room to wash really big pots and pans. Mine is a huge, deep copper sink, plus I put in a small prep sink on the island. I have the high arched faucets with pull out sprayers on both. I love them!

I too prefer a large single bowl sink. But given your choices I would switch to the one with at least one larger side.
