On my way to work each day I pass these billboards that say that Judgement day is comming May 21 and a few people here at work have been talking about it. I am just curious, does anyone believe this and if so, why and what do you think is gonna happen?
Personally, I don't believe anything is going to happen, from what I read in some articles online, the guy who is behind this had said the same thing for Sept. 6, 1994. I feel bad for the families of the people who are spending all of their life savings because they actually believe that this is going to happen. In an artice in the new york post, a man spent over $140,000 on subway ads. While I admit, i don't go to church every week, I do believe in God and I was always taught that no one knows when he will return.

Honestly, do they have nothing better to do with their time and money? And, do people actually see the light and repent when they see a billboard? I'd much rather set a good example than to try to scare someone into believing.

I respect each and everyone's belief, personally I do not believe it. When judgement day or end of the world comes, no one truly knows when it will happen. The ones that claimed they do have been proven wrong so far. What I despise are people who take advantage of others to the point that those people preyed on are financially ruined.

These things make me nervous that somebody somewhere is gonna do somethin really crazy stupid to create a disaster because of all the hype.

Well we are all still here obviously so it is one more thing not to believe. Funny although I believe in God I'm finding it harder and harder to trust Him.

Well I don't believe in God but if I did, I'd have to point out that GOD had nothing to do with those stupid A%% billboards and that stupid A%% notion that the world was going to end yesterday...GAH!!!!!!!!!

I trust Him 100%!
