Responsibility

How is it so many people are not responsible for their actions? For their words? For themselves?

How is it they can't face reality and either conduct themselves accordingly or have the integrity to admit the truth?

Their actions affect others negatively and in some cases, they can never be taken seriously because people DO see the truth.

I have been having this trouble in my everyday life. Many people do not see that their actions affect other people. I am a manager of two softball teams and it is so difficult when people flake out last minute. I try my hardest to be the best I can be, but sometimes people just don't care.

I hope it gets better for you!

some people are so delusional(mental illness) that they believe their version of reality.
some people are such sociopaths that it is always about them. They will always blame others/not take responsibility for their behaviours/actions.

Some people are just to darned stupid to know that their reality isn't real. Basically those people are just too stupid to get out of their own way.

And I'm dealing with this right now with several people in my and my SO's life. I'm about ready to yank a knot in someone's butt--I'm fed up.

Put her on ignore or just don't read her posts if they upset you.

Because I have people in my life who refuse to take responsibility, and they don't understand their actions have consequences---DL could have been talking about those people

Red face

Thanks for the advice Marilyn, however this is the second time in 2 weeks dl has made comments yet refused to admit whom they were directed towards. One was about having someone perhaps attended college, yet no comment sense, she was talking about this on that thread. Now just a little bit because I thanked the mods for removing all the nasty and rude comments, I sent her a private email, and she replied I will get in trouble with my job, I have a excellent job record and after 14 years I have nothing to worry. So right after that she comes here and now talks about people taking responsibilty, for me a bit to close for comfort and asked her whom it was about. Peace. Catherine

I'm tired of people parroting Glenn Beck talking points. Even worse is when they pretend they came up with it on their own.

Unfortunately, way too much.

I don't see it getting any better, either. With our country moving more and more towards "give everyone everything equally, no matter if they earn or work for it" way of thinking - it's only gonna get way way worse.

Thanks for that one, I am NOT making fun of you, I thought that was just a local saying! If it means the same thing there as it does here, those folks should shut up and back off. Sadly some people are just to dumb to listen.
