Some families limit graveside to family only but have held visitation earlier or a simple memorial service a few hours prior. X

The first responders from that day should be some of the first ones invited to the memorial. Without them and their heroics on that day, there would have been many more names added to the death toll. Has Mayor Bloomberg forgotten that there were first responders killed that day as well? If something were to happen on the day of the memorial, he would want the first responders to do be around then! |

Maryann very sad tragic news to hear, those men all in uniform totally deserve to be there. Agreed make it a 2 day service so that all may come and may their respect on this very sad 10th Anniversary.....Peace and sincere prayers to all, whom lost their lives, that fateful day and also to all their family and loved ones that remain. God Bless them all and be there for them to give them the strenght they need...Peace...Catherine
