I stopped coming to MyCoupons quite awhile back because of all the bickering. I wanted light, internet friendships where you could get an idea, a recipe, save some money, etc. I wanted some intelligent back and forth conversation.

Every few months, I stop back and see what's going on. I keep hoping that the one "nice and peaceful" person that fights with everyone would have moved on and left the board or changed her ways. Sigh. That hasn't happened. This used to be a bustling, fun place to hang out.

I don't mean to hurt that person's feelings but this is just sad. Everyone has left because this is just not a nice place to be.

Donna welcome back and I would have to say to you, it is a choice to stay or go....I have been here for 12 years, have made many wonderful friends. Finally decided not to buy bottled water anymore

I decided that we were going to really try hard as a family and not buy any more bottled water. I feel that we have enough plastic bottles in this world here on earth and I no longer want to be apart of adding to the already overrun of plastic bottles. So we installed a brita water system in both kitchens and honestly the water tastes so good, we all as a family truly love it and we all feel so much better for doing so and wished we had done it sooner. I also purchased some nice large glass bottles and we fill them with the water, one has lemons and limes. The other has strawberries and peaches . The other one has cucumbers. They are all so delicious, we have tried many different fruits, it literally so delicious. Just really trying to be more green and safe our beautiful earth.. and we are saving so much money on not having to buy bottled water anymore...Peace..Catherine

Dl for your information so I may clarify, if you do not know this already, I stockpile a lot of items for both personal use and then for tons of donations. If you will remember I lost my beloved brother Sonny to Aids. In my area there are 2 Aids hospice homes that I donate so many items..one of them is a lot of drinking items, including snapple, which I was able to get so much, gatorade, powerade and yes bottled water for the people who sadly are in the aids hospice homes...I also donate Haagen Dazs icecream and candy and cookies, all of these items are a really treat to the many men and woman...In my post if you go back and read I no longer purchase for MY FAMILY... did not want to make this post about my brother and Aids, however since you thought you caught me in a lie, I felt it necessary to share my little secret.......Peace and wish more people would donate.....Catherine

Also Dl this part of me which donates to Aids Hospice homes is private, something I was not going to share, not because I am embrassed, or ashamed, just did not want it to turn into a self pity thread about my brother Sonny and aids.....So sad you truly thought otherwise, however I still offer you peace and blessings for it is the right thing to do...Catherine

Right now I am waiting on a large coupon trade of powerade coupons to come, we would never drink that stuff here, but again for them in the hospice home, some have no family, no money, so it is a real treat for them....So happy when I enter into the building and their rooms, and have their little goodie bags for them, just the smiles on their faces are the true reward for all the buying and stockpiling I do, it makes it all well worth it for sure.....peace....Catherine

I miss Sammy. Does anyone else remember her awesome posts about all the crafts she did? She took great photos and described how she turned 'this' into 'that', and it was like watching something on HGTV. She was just so creative!

I loved reading about these because i am like the craft idiot, no one will let me near a hot glue gun. So it was fun to see someone do it right, and make such pretty stuff. Like Martha Stewart, but more approachable.

I forgot about her, I always enjoyed her posts

Yes, Marilyn, I remember the 9/11 poster. She seemed so "real". I was so worried about her situation at the time. It was very eye-opening when her lie was revealed.

Yes, Sammy was from North Carolina and her husband was a contractor. I did enjoy seeing her renovations in progress.

And Blackjuice was pure entertainment.

I soooo admired her and looked forward to her posts and latest project with pics! Could only dream to so imaginative and inventive as she was.

I believe there was some imposter who stole perfect home pictures from different websites and "claimed" this was her home with before and after pictures of her latest project. She must have been some kind of envious of Sammy (Heather) and I think that was the beginning of the downward spiral of Mycoupons. Too bad.
