Red face Anyone else watch sister wifes on tlc

I know I have talked about this before, and now that they are living in all different homes, Kody the only husband among 4 wifes goes from one home to another so by the time he comes back to the first it has been 4 days......I watch the show, not because I agree with it, far from the least, but rather watch it to try to understand how they do it. Are they truly as happy as they seem. I for one could never imagine the thought of having to share my husband with 3 other women, the thought is totally gross. For me he is the only one who truly benefits from this suituation sort of having his cake and eating it 4 times so to speak. I cannot imagine how these women do it, besides the sex, how about having to handle the home and all the kids it is like being a single parent for 4 days all the time..Perhaps it is just me, but i believe it is not fair at all to anyone except Kody. I remember one espisode where the first wife Meri said she was thinking of getting another husband to which Kody said the idea madache his really sick to his stomach........Does anyone have any personal experience to know anyone who particapates in this kind of marriage..Any thoughts kindly share tia and peace...Catherine

He's a slime ball. I watch it once in a great while. It's sort of like a car wreck. Gives me the creeps but sometimes I watch it anyway. Why did they have to run from where they lived before? Was the law on their heads? Also who pays for all those houses and those kids? I heard someplace, not a clue where, that many of the polygamists are on welfare. I apologize to all semi-law-biding polygamists who might read this, should the welfare comment be incorrect.

Agreed wildwood slime is a good word to describe him..from what I have gotten from the show, they had to leave because the cops or authorites were coming after them. I thought that their lifestyle was legal in Utah perhaps I am wrong. So now they are in another state and all are living in 4 different homes with almost 17 children to his name with number four wife making it 17, the new young wife Robin...As far as how they handle all the finances to support 4 homes , plus all the living expenses and health care cost.......I literally have no idea, I wonder and correct me if I am wrong do they not make money from the show???. Either way I know that they are all adults and have the right to live their lives the way they want, however as a wife and mother sorry in my view it is not moral and degrading to women. I can see if the wives can have multiple husbands but from what I know that is not the case only the men can multiple wifes.....not in my book never ever.........peace.....Catherine

That is why I watch it too. I don't get it, why would any woman be ok with sharing a man, especially one that isn't much to look at.

I have watch it occasionally. I saw them on a talk show, can't recall which one. I just remember that they asked Cody how he would feel if one of his wives came home and told him that they wanted to have another husband. He thought it was disgusting and couldn't understand why they would feel the need to have another husband. I thought that was very telling. What an ass....

Yeah I saw that talk show too but cannot remember where, maybe Dr Phil? That was exactly what I thought...why is it ok for him but not ok for the women? HA! Yeah what an azzhat! That lifestyle boggles my mind! You could tell on that talk show that the women were not OK with that situation but it was like they just went along with it. My gosh, aren't there more men out there besides that weirdO?

I watch the show because, quite frankly, I find it interesting. It wouldn't be a choice I would make and Kody definitely gives me the heebie-jeebies, but I don't think it's right that they should have to hide their lifestyle or be prosecuted (or potentially prosecuted) because of it. They are adults and should be allowed to make their own decisions. I do not support the polygamist/cult sects that encourage or force young girls to get married, but that's not the case here. I don't agree that the government should be involved with home lives as long as there is no abuse and they are consenting adults.

I would love it if one of the wives felt a 'calling' to invite their new personal trainer (looks like Matt Damon on steroids) to join their wedded bliss.
