My kids (all 3) high school band is going to state this Saturday! It's a huge deal as this is the first time in our school history that our band made it that far. The marching show is awesome and honestly we would be content with 10th place (10 bands competing), but would be thrilled to do better. We're just happy we made it this far! By the way, the kids get to play in Lucas Oil Stadium. What a thrill!

So nice that all three will share this experience together. Band is a very worthwhile activity. Builds many skills and the friendships that the kids form will often last a lifetime. Wish my DD had stayed in band when she went on to a D-1 university with a great band.
