FuNnIeSt HaLLoWeEn CoStUmEs You've ever seen

Happy Halloween folks!

I know some offices dressed up and had their celebrations this past Friday and we've already had two trick or treat events already this weekend so has anybody else seen a really cool or funny Costume from this year or years past?

DH had a group of gals from a department in his building all dress up as beauty queens and "sash" themselves with funny "Miss" titles. Miss Behavin, Miss Understood, Miss Fortunate (chick with a broken arm) -- and more.. it was funny.

We like cool original costumes. Ya'll seen any?

Every year at the Naval Academy, the mids dress up and go trick or treating in the plebes rooms. They come to dinner formation dressed up and the costumes are pretty elaborate.

The lacrosse team has dressed for a few years as sperm with one member dressed as an egg.....

The wrestlers went one year as the rock band Aerosmith.

one of my boys went one year with his company mates as the guys from A Clockwork Orange. (weird costumes).

This year my son and his friends are going as 80s members of the Brat Pack....mine is going as Tom Cruise in Risky Business. There is a girl who is going as Molly Ringwold in Breakfast Club and a mid going as Judd Nelson in the same movie. There are about four more in the group but I don't remember what or who they are going as.

There is a group going as superheroes......Captain America and the rest....

Cute! Cute! Cute! USNAmom
That sounds fun.

and the EPIC FAIL... parents who built costume forgot that child has to actually get close enough to ring the door bell or knock before saying "Trick or Treat". Not gonna happen in this one.

Nutz! and it was cool idea too.

I worked in a bar for years and saw many 'original' ones.....here are a few I can repeat:

A lady wearing a giant bra loaded with bottles of spices= Spice Rack

A lady dressed as a brick, a man as a laborer= he was a 'bricklayer'

A lady with two black P's drawn around her eyes= Black Eyed Peas

A pregnant lady dressed as a pumpkin, her hubby wore a name tag that said "Hello....my name is Peter Peter." (So Bad!!)

My niece is dressing her two girls as "flying monkeys" from Wizard of Oz, and she's going as The Wicked Witch.

Last year saw a mom pulling a wagon that had a big black cauldron in it--and her kids were dressed as a lobster and a shrimp.

Wink

At work today one person was dressed as a huge hotdog great costume, while there were a few children, who were dressed like the future kind and queen of England, Kate and Prince William. The William one was really great, because he is considered the prince of wales, his costume contained a whale around his waist. For Kate she was dressed in this little dark blue skirt suit with a hat and while gloves and carried a small white handbag, very cute indeed...For me I went dressed as a Carolina Panther Football player, between my husband and my son they have everything, the children really loved it. Peace till our troops return home safe....Catherine

I didn't see many funny costumes, but I did have a few cute ones. One was a high school kid who dressed up like a pink butterfly. He was trick or treating with his little sister who was about 3-4. The little girl was a princess. She told us "don't worry my brother isn't a real butterfly, he didn't want to dress up so I gave him my costume so he could get some candy too"
Then there was a boy about 8-9 who was darth vader, he was special needs and so funny. His dad said "Justin do you need me to help you up the stairs" and he said "dad today I'm not Justin I am darth vader, now I have to leave and come back cause the lady isn't going to know who I am" and as he was leaving everyone's house he was yelling "May the force be with you" (we heard him as he went house to house up the street)

and my favorite was a little girl who was a bee, I was letting each kid pick 3 candies out of one of those tote bags, she took 2 peanutbutter cups and said "Oh I love peanutbutter cups" and she took a snickers and said "this is for mommy she is at work" so I saw she was with her dad so I told her she could take one for her dad too and she said "oh no thank you he's fat enough"

LOL
That's what I'm talkin' bout! HA HA HA! Too cute.

and thanks to the others that posted cool ideas. DH even laughed at Peter Peter, jeeplady!

We always enjoy the creativity not the scary side of it. Had over 500 kids through our Trunk or Treat at Church Sunday night. It was great.

Unhappy

I saw a bad one well for me anyway, I take it personally because I am against alcohol and cigarettes. It was actually posted on facebook, I believe the guy is on television, have to go back, I really was not interested in what his work was, however the costumes he and his little 2 year old boy were wearing is what caught my eye...The father was dressed in a Jack Daniel's costume, however his little boy was dressed up in a ma*****o cigarette costume...disgusting and sad. Yet so many viewers thought it was so funny, and were poking fun at the people like me who put dislike in their comments....First off I have not seen any advertisement for cigarette's anywhere, I can only assume he either had it made, or it came from outside the United States...Sorry but drinking is a major issue with me, more and more the kids are getting younger and younger and drinking and driving. Of course under the influence of alcohol they cannot make good judgements..No peace here

One kid at school was dressed in a ref's uniform with a blindfold on. Then he had one of those walking sticks the blind use. He was a blind referee!

@Kkain - cute! Was it scary for them to wear Red Sox caps in NY?

My son-in-law is from Boston and moved here to central NY for my daughter. The Boston caps are not regulation Post Office uniform attire but he gets away with it because of his outgoing personality and his adorable Boston accent. My grandson won "the most original costume" at our local Children's Museum. What a proud moment for my daughter. LOL
