The Spoon Sisters

The first thing I noticed was a guitar string wring...which I have to have. I just got a fingerprint necklace today in the mail. My friend who lost her daughter about two years ago got it for me. It has Justin's fingerprint on it. Her daughter and Justin grew up together. Anyway, Justin loved his guitar and played well.

Melissa, how and where did you get the fingerprint necklace? Could they take the print off a pick?

Freer......a friend of mine had the fingerprint taken at the funeral home and ordered it for me.

Those are called "thumbies" and can be done with an ink print, or they now have a device that scans digitally. It is actually a thumbprint and there are MANY jewelry items available.

How thoughtful and sweet.

It was very sweet. She came to me and asked if I'd want one. When her daughter passed she didn't do it and now regrets it. Her daughter and Justin had a special relationship. Weird that their both gone now. Her daughter suffered with brain cancer her entire life......we always knew she would leave us early.

Funny cute story. When her daughter was alive, for the last few years of her life she of course declined, losing hearing and vision. BUT....Justin being who he was continued to treat her like he always did, which was harassing her a bit. Tapping her on the shoulder and moving to the other side was a favorite, and she loved it! When Justin passed, her mom came to me and said....Just think, when Justin sees Sandy, he'll tap her on the shoulder and she will be perfect and be able to SEE him!!! What a precious thought!
