I am chomping at the bit to decorate for Christmas!! What do all of you have up so far?? I'm going to start taking down my Thanksgiving stuff tomorrow and start pulling out the Christmas stuff. It takes so long to get it all up, and I soo enjoy it, I'm ready to get this show on the road!!

I put my outside lights up on Nov. 1st. I was almost 70 degrees here so I got it done while it was warm. I put my tree up almost 2 weeks ago. I do it early because it's so much work and I like having time to enjoy it! I will keep it up until after New Years!

I decorated the inside of my house last week, with the exception of my tree since I usually get a real tree. For the time being I got a small 3ft tree at the thrift store down the street, I paid $2.50 for it and just put on a string of lights and some red and silver balls. I didn't do the outside yet except for my blow up snowman on my front porch

I got the tree Saturday, and decorated in Sunday. I put some wreaths up, got the large poinsettias from Home Depot, put my small, fake tree out, my nut crackers and my Christmas dinner ware. We got some potted Christmas plants to put out, hung the stockings, and set a few others things out. Too bad it is 80 degrees right now!

I don't do outside, other than some more poinsettias I bought and a Holiday door mat.

I wanted to do it while I had the week off of work, because when we go back to school, I have a little over 2 weeks until we leave for Disney. and when we come back, only a few days until the big day.

I would do it the day after Halloween but my husband prefers I wait until the day after Thanksgiving so I'll be doing it when I get home from my Thanksgiving trip. I can't wait I love Christmas and everything that goes with it. I decorate my outside tree as well as the front yard and my husband of course puts lights on the house. I have two pink mini trees with lights and decorations to put in the bedroom and dining room. We always go to the local tree farm and cut a tree for the living room I look forward to that! I have an even smaller plastic tree that my Nonna gave me when I was a little girl and that will go in the kitchen. I will get a wreath for my front door.
I have a nutcracker collection that inlcudes a fireman, doctor, and sailor. I have everything that was mine from growing up and everything from my son growing up. It takes me several days to decorate! I almost forgot the boughs that go around the house above every doorway and my arch into the dining room.
Then the cookie, fudge, and nut brittle making starts! I love this time of year. I am always joyful and I love driving around looking at everyone's displays. I am very excited!
