It's just starting to rain this morning.

But I opened my blinds to see people setting up for a parade right across the street from me.

There's a Polar Express, Santas, Girls in Tutus - people and vehicles all over the place.

I'm new here so didn't know this happens the 1st Saturday of December.

The parade starts at 9:00 so I better get my cup of coffee and get out on the patio to watch.

Enjoy the parade! I believe today is the annual Springfield (Oregon) parade also but I'll be at work.

We didn't have rain, but we had cold, and bitter winds (20 mph gusts)

I know my info says "So Calif" - got out of there and am now in North Texas.

How were the winds where you are? Heard they hit really bad in some areas.

Awww, how fun!! When I lived in Pennsylvania, there was a 4th of July parade that went right down my street. I lived on kind of a main street in the town. My house was set back from it a bit, but it was very easy to just go sit on the front step outside and have a great view. I really enjoyed that!
