Yet Mitt contends that English should be the national language. I'd love to see him include a statement to that effect in the ad! Hypocrite.

Well I am not saying I agree with Mitt Romney however a person SHOULD learn the language of the country they live in. To neglect to do so leaves the person open to exploitation from criminals, crooked employers, crooked doctors, etc.
If you don't understand the language how can you navigate the legal system, the financial system, the education system, etc?
I am a firm believer in being multilingual. People who I know who are multilingual seem to learn very effectively. And "the more you learn, the more you know, the farther you'll go, the farther you go, the happier you'll be!"

The point is that Romney is talking out of both sides of his mouth. He's trying to curry favor with Spanish-speaking Floridians while touting the idea of a National language. Either his ads should be all English or he should add his position on a national language to his Spanish ads.
