I used to lurk back in 1999 - I was so busy shopping all the free offers that there wasn't much time to post. I fondly remember the Family board and am so glad it's back even if only on a probationary basis. I felt like I lost so many "old friends" when they discontinued it. I hope to see lots of familiar names back again.

Who was the girl who was undergoing treatment for cancer? Anybody remember?

Yes I have been around sence 99 when my baby girl was first born (shes 7 now). YES I remember all the good deals there was to have on here! Thats when freeride was first around. You could get soo many gcs then. I got hubby an dvd player for free that year! I remeber the... Now what were they called again.. benz, beanz somehting like that. Yes soo many good deals back then...

The person that was underging treatment for cancer was named Holly, I do beleive, I can't remmeber her username off hand though.

I joined about 3 years ago but lurked before then. I hated it when they closed the family board. I would love to know what happened to some. The ones I remember are Sammy , Jculler, and stbernadette. I dont know why I remember those, I am sure there are a lot more once I see their names. I hope this board stays.

Hi everyone! I joined in January 2000 and I used to be RodnMichie. Since there is no more Rod, I changed my name. I wasn't around for the 1999 deals, but I had one heck of a year when I did join. Remember Jaboom? I earned thousands of dollars of Amazon credit from that. So many fond memories. I'm very happy The Cafe is opened and thrilled about the rules. Now we have a safe, fun place to get to know each other again.
