5. When do you put your decorations up? Usually before T-Day because it makes people mad

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child. When my oldest brother bought me my first bike, it was a blue angel and I have to say when my other brother gave me 2 Silver Dollars that him and my oldest brother had when they were young, I still have them, one is 1974 the year I was born and the other is 1972 the year my husband was born, I think its kinda neat.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? When I asked for a Mickey Mouse Talking Telephone and I got straight up Mickey Mouse, and then I seen him wearing tennis shoes in the IGA and I knew Santa wouldn't wear tennis shoes darn it, he would wear boots!!!!

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes one, usually.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? This year purple bulbs and silver white lights, silver beading with a bit of maroon, things that the kids have made me, a silver angel at the top, and whatever else my son has put on the tree, we have a fiber optic tree in the kitchen that I need to get some red bows for.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love it when it first falls and it pretty and if we don't have to travel and can stay home and drink hot chocolate and feed our faces.

12. Can you ice skate? No, but my daughter has, I am too scared of falling and really hurting my back.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? The bike and silver dollars mentioned above, oh and the last thing my brother bought me for Christmas before he passed away music box/jewelry box.

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Being with my family and making it fun.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? My mother inlaws pecan pie and peanut butter fudge that I make. lol

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? I have the kids tell what and who they are thankful for and me and the kids watching Christmas shows on tv and acting silly with them dancing around.

18. Which do you prefer giving or Receiving? Giving, and I wish I could give alot more.

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Jingle Bell Rock, Silent Night I like a bunch, can't pick one.

21 Favorite Christmas Show? National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation!!!! , I use to like this one until we had our own a few years ago on our vacation, I like all of the kids shows and anything romantic and sappy!!! to bring tears to my eyes. I like the Santa Clause Movies

22. Saddest Christmas Song? I just heard it today I think it is called Christmas Shoes about a little kid who is buying them in case his mother meets Jesus tonight and he wants her to look beautiful. My daughter and I both were sappy.

He bought me TWO gifts that year.... a set of wireless headphones with built in AM/FM radio and a stuffed dog called HENRY. I was thrilled!---

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? WHAT TRUTH ABOUT SANTA??? LOL! Are you talking about the fact that he will INDEED still bring toys and gifts to naughty boys and girls even after the threat of a chunk of coal being left in your stocking? ---

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Yes, that's when we do just "our" family gift exhange to each other.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Three Trees - Kids Tree ~ all the years worth of memories and homemades. Fragile Tree - All glass blown, heirloom and otherwise expensive ornaments. Kitchen Tree - Chili pepper/Western Cowboy theme.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? LOVE IT When we go skiing in Colorado, Love it for 3 days worth of School being out per year, but after that... Well, I'm a summer baby!

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? A teddy bear named Charlie (still have him)

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? That moment in the Christmas Eve candlelight service, singing silent night acapella when tears fill your eyes and you realize what a gift we've all been given. You look left and look right to see the faces of your family softly lit by the warmth of a single candle burning. The twinkle in their eyes, the rosiness of their cheeks, and the smile that comes from a heart so full. That's Christmas!

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Fluffy but not Stuffy or Coconut Chess Pie

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition? Every year before we open family presents we have some read the Christmas story in the book of Luke.

17. What tops your tree? An Angel my family has had since before I was born. It's an honor to be chosen to be the one who gets to put her up there.. we alternate so everyone gets a chance.

Agnus Dei on the Amy Grant's A Christmas to Remember CD. It's a hauntingly beautiful song but I think of my niece who died in a auto accident last year.

I am packing a mini tree, lights and ornaments for our hotel room. It will be a suprise from Tinkerbell when the boys wake up in our hotel on Christmas Day.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Tamales from our favorite Mexican deli/grocery in South St Paul,MMMMM

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child. Singing carols with extended family. Going to midnight service at church. Having snowball fights with my sibings.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? Found my presents hiding in my mom's closet.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Lights, tinsel, ornaments collected thru the years. Lots of ornaments from Targt clearance sales. The boys will hide a plastic spider in the tree for us to find. We have tied action figures to string and hung them on tree. Manger scene with Luke Skywalker , army men and Yoda in attendance LOL

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it? Love it, then it's not so bitter cold! Hate it when it's really bright and sunshine glares in the eyebells and I get sunburn. Hate it when it's April and the darn snow won't go away!

13. Do you remember your favorite gift? It's hard to think of only one. My mom knitted me an afghan when I was 12, I still have it. She always makes things for other people but that was the first time she made one for me! My oldest brother gave me my first watch. A cousin gave me my first pet, kitten that I named Peepers.

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you? Enjoying a few days with my husband and boys and no one has to go to school or work. This year will be very special as we are celebrating Christmas at Disneyland, my BIL is coming on the trip and he had never been to DL.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert? Cookies, bars, other baked goods that people give me. I'm not into making cookies but I do enjoy them!

16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?Taking the boys to 8th floor auditorium at Dayton's (err Macy's) for the holiday show. This year is Mary Poppins. Wrapping gifts the night before with DH and talking about how much the boys have grown .

17. What tops your tree?Angel. I need to find something for this year for a mini tree.

19. What is your favorite Christmas Song? Sleigh Ride by Jump5, I got hooked on it this year.

5. When do you put your decorations up? WEEK BEFORE T-DAY AND I AM STILL DOING IT (The earlier the better so that you can enjoy the holidays)

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)? Frozen Ranch Crackers

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child. Going to my grandmothers house when I was in 6th grade. We drove all night from Maryland to Tennessee and surprised her. The presents were feet from the base of the tree. Everyone came to her house that year. It was the best Christmas ever.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa? 3rd grade Lunchroom in Memphis Tennessee from a boy that said that he was not real. Each year I still curse him. (I hope he is bald and has a big belly.)

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? Always have opened one since as long as I can remember

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Kitchen tree is our military tree. Got a new white tree for the living room so the Radko ornaments are on that one. The other green tree will have all of our other ornaments. We also have a nature/bird tree but I dont think that that one is going to make it up this year.

5. When do you put your decorations up? When I get the time -- usually a week after Thanksgiving. My Thanksgiving decorations are still up right now!

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child. Waking up on Christmas morning and finding a red wagon. I actually slept in that wagon that night with my pillow and blanket!

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve? No, we used to when the boys were little, but not now. We wait until Christmas morning.

10. How do you decorate your Christmas tree? Each decoration I put on the tree has a special memory to it -- the boys made it when they were little, or someone gave it to me or I made it or I bought it to mark a special occasion.
