What would you say you usually run for a Credit Card bill when January rolls around after shopping for the Holidays. I am trying to pay as I go along but it's starting to catch up because I have too many people to buy for and never feel like I have bought enough. Just hate the post Holiday Bills when all the exitement is over and the Bills arrive.

We set aside $600 cash to pay for xmas this year. We put it on credit and then make the cash deposit and pay it off. We find if it's not there, we can't spend it but we like the protection of credit cards when shopping (ie: returns, etc are much easier). I would say we are really spending about $800 because DH got a bonus and I splurged on a $150 gift for him that he doesn't know about yet)

Proud to say I haven't shopped at a Wal-Mart since Sept 2003

Mine will probably run about $600 this year. Like sexysmurf, we pay with a credit card and will pay off the balance in January out of our savings.

I would say we charge A LITTLE maybe $500 during the holidays & thats my kids only everyone else I get free stuff or very close to it!!! And its not cheap junk either so I feel ok about it being free ya know
