Question Help! I need the FASHION POLICE!

Monday is the big day...
I am interviewing for a regional management position(2nd face2face interview)
My Flight leaves at 6:00 am from FLA
With a lay over in ATL I will,
Arrive in NY at 11:30 and will be picked up by the VP.

I have a Suit picked out...
Question is, do I go comfy shoes(which I have a pair same color as suit)? Or Killer heals and look good??

I am only flying in for the day and returning home at 9:30 pm.
So, I will not be able to change. (OR GO SHOPPING)

I'd go comfy on the plane and maybe have a pair of heels in a carry on to change into just before meeting the VP.

GOOD LUCK!!

I agree; maybe you can take a lager bag as a purse/briefcase & change before the interview.

my feet would never make it all day in the heels

good luck to you - let us know how it goes.

Just make sure they are closed-toed. I've sat on several interview teams, and there's always been someone who looked to see if the candidate was wearing open or closed-toed shoes. Closed-toed appeared a little more polished and professional...or at least that is my opinion! Best of luck to you! Or maybe that's just a "Southern Thang!" LOL!

I would definitely go with the sensible shoes all the way, especially for a managerial position. Like mdrpooh said, you want to convey a professional image and killer heels on an interview won't do it. Now when you get there, if you do see women (or men) in steep heels just remember, they already have their jobs.

AND Ms. Sanctuary - No Shopping! You will be in the middle of the most dangerously tempting season in the city.
Don't let the smells or the Santas entice you.
Step away from the Kiosks.
Keep clear of anything east of 6th. If you must go east, don't look to your left or your right.
Don't be distracted by anything shiny in any of the windows.

And if you happen to see a slightly musty old sax player anywhere on 5th, give him a listen - he's awesome!

Finally, best of luck to you!

Thanks, I went comy and carried heels.
I never did put the heals on. It was one horror story after another at the airports!
Glas to be home, but nice to see SNOW again!

I'm a little late in reading and responding. I was going to say what everyone else suggested... go comfy but bring the heels in a tote. Glad to here it's over and done. Now keep us all updated on what happens next. Inquiring minds (not nosy ones) want to know.
