What is Santa putting in your kids stockings this year?

I am running out of ideas for stocking stuffers as my kids get older. I'm curious as to what you all put in your kids stockings that they just love.

Thanks,
Tracy

My kids are older and they do get harder. This year I have:
t-shirt
cd
magazine subscription
candy
then specific things for each like: homemade Mt Dew Jelly for one, gas card for another, bubble bath for a third.

Would love to hear more ideas.

We put Cd's, DVDs, gift cards and for the girls, jewelry. My oldest is on a sock kick at the moment and is always wanting new socks so I'm going to put a couple pair of those cute character socks in her stocking this year.
We also add small pieces of candy to each stocking, something mom and dad wouldn't normally buy..lol.
You can also put small bottles of cologne and lip gloss in girls' stockings. My girls always get a kick out of that.

This year I'm going strictly with candy and a giant orange or apple in the bottom. I usually go overboard with stocking stuffers and then half of it gets broken or unused or should have been wrapped under the tree. So that is why this yr it will just be chocolates and candy my kids love(I don't even plan on doing those cute Christmas tins and candy holders that the stores are filled with, just more junk in the house. With 8 stockings to fill(I do one DH and myself) I want to keep it easy.

Bracelets
Pencils
Gum
Disney nail stickers
Rings/Fake earrings
Watches
Gloves
Book of Devotion
Chap stick (thanks to Mycoupons/Avon)
Emery boards
Bath paints
Hair bands

WOW, is this all gonna fit in their stockings, lol?!

That's 'bout it. The Dollar Tree really has some cool stuff this year too. And Walgreens .39 cent items.

I don't know how you do it with 6. My 2 give me a run for my money. I can't even imagine the clothes you have to buy, dinners, sports, etc.. Kudos to you.

Ah, my Mom always put an orange in the toe of our stockings. I'd forgotten that!

We pretty much just do candy and gum here...a few small things, chapstick, nailpolish, Hot wheels for my son, flashlights. Things like that. Seems to me I picked up some of the Hello Kitty stuff from the dollar corner at Target too. I have to go through my stash and see what all I have.

It gets so much harder as they get older. I'm so stumped for ideas. So far though I have:

2 movie tickets each
Gold coins w/ 2 lotto tickets attached (this is a tradition thing)
Smokies
Cologne
Mind teaser games (this is a tradition also)

Any more ideas for a 12 and 14 yr old boys?! TIA

Socks (Joe Boxer are the best!), Clementines(my kids like these better than oranges!) candy (75% off from Halloween) maybe a few other things, but that's about it.

Girls are a lot easier than boys. I have my daughters all done. She got jewelry, perfume, lip gloss, book, candy, Hello Kitty Markers and some gift cards to Mc'd's and Sonic.
My son is harder(10). I have a small desk clock(baseball shaped), 2 Brain teaser puzzles, giftcards to Sonic and Mc'd's and candy. I may get him some socks and stick in also.

I tell you growing up I loved my sticking as much as my presents.
It HAD to have a good orange and an apple in it.
(Then my mom or grandmother would scream for us all to give them to her for fruit salad.)
My grandfather would alwyas put a giant peppermint stick in all of ours.
I usually put lip balm, fruit, small items that I know would get lost under the tree in it.

My kids and 8 and 6 and this year they're getting:

a Santa tic tac toe game
candy and bubble gum(not much though)
$5 GC for McDonalds
animal shaped paddle ball
stickers, markers and a fun pad
a foam craft activity set

There may be other things for it but I'm blank now. I've already bought all this and most of it, except the candy and gum was bought after Christmas last year at 90% off, LOL!

So far for DD#1 - a new Barney DVD, pudding and an orange- probably will get some type of music too- she's really hard to get for- she's mentally handicapped and very picky!!

DD#2- a PS2 game she's been wanting but didn't ask for, a necklace, also an orange, one of those Glade lightshow air freshners(and yes their room does need it)- some sort of candy.

We just got from Micaheals and in the gift $1 section they had Candy Land, Monopoly and Scrabble notecards, post its and magnetic tablets.
These were cute.
I will go back there this week and pick some up for her stocking.
(Even though I swore that I would never buy her post its or notecards, along with lip gloss since those are 3 things she has soooooooooooo much of!!)

I love the Glade light show idea. Wasn't there a TMF rebate in last week's paper?
My son's room could DEFINATELY use one!!!
