Hi! I'm Kim and I've been on the boards on and off since 99. I work full-time, but as an outside sales rep for a lab company, so I do have some flexibility. I live with my DH, my 8 year old DS, and sometimes my 17 year old stepson. My DH and I have been married for a little over 1 month, but we've been together for 3 years. We also have a dog who hasn't the foggiest idea that he is a dog..... We don't really tell him either. ;o) My DH is a manager at American Airlines. He's been there 12 years and loves it. We may try to have one "punkin" together, but we haven't quite decided. I've gotten pretty used to being able to get in the car in less than 20 minutes! Our kids keep us busy and we spend a lot of time with our families and neighbors on the weekends. I've been super thankful for MC over the years as I've gotten some really great deals and really been able to stretch the money! Thanks to everyone for sharing!

A foundry is a really hot, nasty factory that makes parts for GM.

My husband works in the part where they check all of the parts so he isn't in with the heat. Yes it is still dirty but not hot. He is in the maintenance dept. he fixes the machines.

My name is Marti, I'm 41. I have 4 kids 3 of my own and a custodial stepson who is 9. My children are 19(son) 15(daughter) and 14(son). My stepson has Digeorge Syndrom/vcfs so life is an adventure. Some of my past postings included when I was going through a huge custody battle with my ex husband. Happy to report I have sole custody of all the kids! I am a SAHM for most of the year although Jan-April I work for a major tax company and do tax returns. I've been married for 7 yrs on the 29th. (this time)

I am Peggy and yes it is Peggy Sue LoL. Married to DH for 16 years . Daughter 14 and Son 10. Been a stay at home mom off and on since DD was born. DH works for a little tourist town. We live out in the country right across the road from my Mom and Dad who live on a farm. They raise beef cattle and I help them out all I can since my dad was disabled 6 years ago. We have 2 dogs 3 cats and 1 hamster. I am 35 and will be 36 on Jan 9.

Hello! I am Toni, for short! I've been married to my DH for 16 years and together 19. We have 2 awesomes sons; 14 and 12. I'm a SAHM that helps DH with our construction business as well as our hobby farm, where we raise cattle (4H and show) and hogs. We have 3 dogs; a chocolate that's 9, a german short hair pointer that's 3, and an australian sheperd that'll be a year in January. I'll be 36 on January 1st!GULP!

I am Jo and have been married for 23 yrs to booboo. we have one daughter who is away at college and will be home this coming tue!!!!!!!!!! we have a rental cat who lives with us most of the time. esp. in the winter time when we have a fire in the woodstove. we also babysit a wild puppy a few times a month when his mom takes call. we live in the country on 4-5 acres and we have a huge garden each yr and I can an ton of stuff. freeze what I cant can. I crochet, knit, make quilts , read and garden. thats my hobbies. I work for home health and have 4 more yrs till I will have enough time in to retire. I will be 49 when I can retire but not sure if I will or not.

I'm Dee, and have been married for 9 years - have three daughters, ages 7, 6 and 3. I teach piano out of my home in the afternoons. I've been on these boards for years, and am thrilled to have The Cafe now! I hit the big 4 - 0 this year, which was tough, but not has hard as I remember 30 being!

MY NAME is NIkki I worked pt until today it was my last day at my current job, now I will start a new adventure/ job or whatever you want to call it & take care of my kids the rest of the time I have all girls that I love dearly & am married also my dh just graduated from college & works about 80hrs a week as an electrician so sometimes I feel like I am raising the kids alone but thats ok I prefer it that way LOL!!!

Hello, My name is Kelli. I am 34 years old and I have been with my DH for 15 1/2 years (16 in May) and we will be married 14 years on New Year's Eve . I have two step-daughters. Tabetha is 20 and Raven is 18. I am a "grandma" by Raven. Gavin is 4 months old. I told everyone to call me nana -LOL . DH & I have 3 dogs; Spot is a German Short Haired Pointer and he is 15 years old, Bailey is a Black Lab/Husky mix and she is 4 years old and Riley is a Black Lab/Rott/Golden Ret./Chow mix and she will be two years old in February. We also have a 14 year old cat named Snowball and Tabetha has a year old cat named Tigger and yes he is bouncing all over the house and into everything!! LOL...I sell Avon part-time. DH is a certified ASE Master Automotive Technician for Chrysler (he is the head Jeep tech). He is also a part-time tow truck driver which gets pretty interesting on some accidents and impounds .

TOgether we have 5 kids. My 7 yer old daugher is the only one who lives with us. My 16 year old son thought that it would be better at dads so he is there. The other three live with their mom.
