Can we talk wax tarts?

Ok, besides yankee candle, what are the best places to get wax tarts? I love laughing out loud candles, but they have been closed for a while now. I like a very strong scent throw with unique scents. So please post your favorite websites, makers, etc. for buying wax tarts.

I love the soy ones from Irvin's, they smell so good and real! http://www.irvins.com/search_results...category_id=11

I haven't found ones that match theirs.

LOL Everytime I read your post title I see warts instead of tarts. My mind is playing tricks on me. I have a question for you tart users. How do you use them? Do you use one of those elecrtic things to melt them or do you use one that works with a candle. I'm not being very clear but hopefully you know what I'm talking about. I've been thinking about switching from candle to tarts. What are the benefits over candles?

I use a tealight burner and love it. To me, tarts are stronger and scent my home more than candles do. Most of Carols and Yankee tarts I've bought were strong enough to nearly scent my entire home. I think it varies depending on which scent you buy.
I like tealights because once the wax in the tealight is gone, it goes out. I do have young children so I keep mine up on a high shelf where I know they can't be reached.
Getting the wax out of the burner is pretty easy too. Slide the whole thing into the freezer for a couple moments and the wax will pop right out. Then you're ready for your next scent
HTH some.

I always see the tarts at Yankee but I'm unsure how to use them. I love the holders and Yankee but wouldn't know what to do with it. Does the tart go in the holder then you place a candle below it and light it to get the scent of the tart?

Yeah, you place the tart in the top part of the burner and put your lit tealight in the bottom. As the wax melts it gives off the scent. I'm addicted to tarts. I have 2 burners in my home going all the time. One in the living room and one in my den/computer room.
Lots of holiday scents out there that will make your house smell like you've been baking all day

I love tarts -- Thanks for all the new places to find them!

I just mentioned on another thread (I hate repeating myself, but I feel I need to respond here, too) - I feel that after Yankee, the best scented candles these days are the Village candles sold in some grocery chains. THey're actually not much cheaper than Yankee, but I have decided that they are a great "close second" to Yankee.

Not as into tarts - I prefer burning the candles directly. Tarts seem to get weak quickly, IMHO.
