Question Need Dishwasher Buying advice

I have a Kitchenaid dishwasher that I have had nothing but trouble with.
Mine has 2 small mototors & is quiet . But it don't clean good !
It has a big inside tub for dishes.
My daughter has a Kitchenaid built the year before mine - but smaller inside . But hers cleans good because it has one big motor.

But I want a dishwasher with one big motor to grind up food better & CLEAN better!

Any advice ?

We have a BOSCH and we love it! It cleans great, its quiet and I my favorite part is that I can put my tupperware on the bottem shelf because it has an inline water heater so there's no coils on the bottem to melt the plastic ware. This is my first dishwasher and I really did not want one, but I have changed my mind.

Hope this helps.

We have bought a few over the years because of moving into new houses!

Last two times, I subscribed to Consumer Reports online for a month ($5.00) and researched, researched, researched!!!!

Both times, we ended up Sears Kenmore... Usually a CR Best Buy recommendation.

Although there are lots of others that got great ratings, we've always been pleased with the cost, low maintenance, and Energy Star rating (low water, low electricity) of Kenmore. ALSO, we do not have to 'wash' or 'rinse' the dishes before putting them in and they come out sparkling clean. EXCELLENT food grinding motor.

my advice is to NOT buy one..isn't it just easier to wash dishes by hand ? Why pay for the cost of the dishwasher, then pay for the electric to run it..the special soap to put in it..etc
it's a whole lot of trouble for a few dishes!

OMG...I don't know what I would do without one! The very first thing we bought for our house when we moved in was a dishwasher! LOL

LOL... It surely adds to the value when you sell a home. It is a big 'YES' for buyers!

Ours is very energy efficient... Uses less than 7 gallons of water (we live in the desert - water-saving is necessity!) and we open it up when the wash cycle completes so that it can air dry. Dishes are sterile because of extra hot water and my hands look way better than they do when I wash dishes with or without rubber gloves. Plus, it is a great place to hide dirty dishes!

I'd go nuts without one. I'm not into washing or cleaning ANYTHING until I absolutely have to! Heh.

I have a Kenmore Ultra Wash 4 and I love it. The Kenmore came very highly rated. I had an Ultra Wash by Kenmore in my other house and loved it also. Whatever you do, do not buy a GE, it will be nothing but trouble (or at least it has been my experience).
