How do you pronounce "coupon"?
I'm from south Jersey/Philly area and I pronounce "coupon" Q PON...DH is from the same area as me, but says COO PON...it drives me crazy! How do you pronounce it? Just curious! ~Lisa

I've always called it a Qpon myself. But for the sake of those "coo-pon"folk, the verb "to cut" in French is pronounced "COO-PAY" (couper is how you spell it in French). Just a little trivia...

Here in Idaho I don't think I've ever heard it Qpon, I'm a coo pon girl. This is what the pronounciation from the dictionary says... /ˈkupɒn, ˈkyu-/ So both are correct!

COO-Pon here.... but when my DS was younger he called them POO-Pons! So I sometimes refer to them as that!
