Too Much Sax and Violins

Yup! But I'm not complaining!

I really enjoy Sax and Violins.

I had to attend two concerts in a row yesterday...

One of my sons plays the sax and the other plays violin. It was about the funnest day I've had in a looooooooong time *wink*

Gotcha!

Ooooooo...You are SO LUCKY! I have to wait til next Wednesday for my Son's 6th grade band Christmas concert!

I empthasize with you, the first couple of years are always pretty bad. It does get better. I was in band for 12 years (JrHigh, HS, and college) and by the end, we sounded pretty good.

Did you catch the 'pun'in the title of the thread!? Ok, I thought it was punny! LOL... I'm punchy this morning.

Those concerts and holiday programes sure put me in the holiday spirit. 6th Grade Band came a LONG way from their first grading period's concert!

Violins were rough but so sweet and they were 3rd Grade angels. Darling!

My goodness I first saw the post and thought it said something else. So of course I immediately had to open it.

Loved my sons band concert. Such a proud moment.

Oh yes. I remember the programs. The good thing is how much they improve with age!

I don't have kid concerts anymore. My two that play are in highschool and they don't offer "strings".
My daughter has recieved 3 excellent ratings in the national competition, the violin just came natural for her. Soooo anyhow my son plays the guitar and last weekend he was playing it in his room and daughter was playing violin in her room and I'm hearing two different songs for about 15 minutes then all of a sudden I notice my daughter is "following" my son...what ever he played on the guitar she would play on the violin...it was just too cool! Wish I had any musical talent LOL
