I thought maybe it would be interesting to find out what ya'll think are some good shows on TV that *are* fun for adults AND kids to watch together...?

We enjoy Jimmy Neutron and Sponge Bob a LOT (LOL) but what are some of the more 'adult' shows that are safe and fun for kids...?

We all get a real kick out of the 'Funniest Home Videos' shows and TV/movie bloopers shows when they come on. Also, we all enjoy The Munsters and Gilligan's Island.

My kids are ages 9 and 12.

Almost anything on TVland I think. They have the shows from my childhood which I can't get enough of. Leave it to Beaver, Green Acres, Andy Griffith etc. They even had a weekend marathon of That Girl.

Mythbusters and Dirty Jobs is one of my families favorites. Another show my kids love that keeps me interested is unwrapped. Mythbusters and dirty jobs are on the discovery channel and unwrapped is on the food network.

Now that my kids are older, we all play Jeopardy together. It's nice to have some competition in the house!

We also watch Hell's Kitchen (when it's on) and Heroes, House and Medium.

My kids LOVE America's Funniest Home Videos, they call it the silly show!! They are little, but they like Survivor, sort of grew up watching it, so it's not like they had a choice in that one.

We all sit down on Sunday night to watch Funniest home videos. It is the only show that our family watches together. My 12 year old DS and I love The Amazing Race. We also like Deal or no Deal, but my 6 year old DS gets too stressed out when people get greedy and dont take the money! I guess that comes from me yelling at them! Boy, there is a topic for another thread. "What TV shows do you yell at the screen?"
